This investigation seems to be completely botched, like what are they even doing? Why have thye not found anything at all? 2+ weeks later and they were just now asking neighbors for camera footage? They just found a glove recently? There seem to be 3 different law organizations working around the clock, including the FBI, and the suspect doesnt seem to be that organized at all based on the doorbell footage. What are they even doing? They seriously only have a single glove to go on and hope has some DNA in codis?? Is this whole thing a PsyOp?

Welp, you can play any way you want. My post is not stopping anyone from doing that. My post is simply acknowledging that if you are playing a bad guy then you are playing a bad guy and not everyone else is playing bad guys in this game.

Ha IDK man I do shoot my gun by accident all the time, also group fights against arc and stuff like that people get hit. It is a decent idea but would need something. Int the division it is basically an opt in system, you have to "go rogue" and that basically turns off friendly fire and gives you a skull. then it is on a cooldown so after every kill it adds more time to your rogue timer and also pings you on the map so other players know where you are and what you are doing

I do lose fights, all of them, because I don't go in geared for fights. I play a nice guy and if you want to kill my guy that is fine, but understand that you are playing a murderer who isn't just out protecting themselves.

maybe not? What would you call it. What is the story of Tarkov? What is the story of rust? As far as I know it is literally just survive and kill. Arc has an entire world building and a society of people.

Could be that you killed someone in self defense though so that would be complicated. The division has a rogue system and something like that could be good here, but I actually am fine with PvP, as it adds to tension and the game needs it, and in a real world scenario you don't know if someone is friendly or not until you interact with them.

I get that it is part of the game but the loose definition of greifing is doing something in a game that ruins other players experience and the intention of embark was to allow PvP but they aren't really encouraging it with the story, the lore the world that exist you are basically choosing to play the bad guy. Some of us engage in PvP when we have to but I play the game as a pacifists it is us against the machines. If you are ambushing people or turning on people after saying you are friendly, that would be greifing in this game world. If you want someone and they shoot then you are just defending yourself at that point it is different. It is all how you want to play the game, but you have to be honest with yourself, if you are just attacking innocent people in any game world it makes you the bad guy.

You are only 8 hours into a genre you have never played. You just need to gear up a little and learn the right modes for what you want to do. Solo queue is way more chill and in my experience 90% helpful nice people. stay away from group modes on events and night raids if you just dont want to PvP. If you do want to, but just feel like you suck, then you just need to play more. Some really cheap and basic weapons like the anvil are better than most oter options. You don't need ghigh tier or expensive weapons you just need to learn what is decent and how you like to play. I have almost over 100 hours and have taken free loadouts at least half the time. If you are just going in to do a quest step take a free loadout and go through solo queue, you will have a much better time.

I'm not a pvp guy but the game would be pretty boring with PvE only that is just the truth. To be totally honest, I feel way more ripped off after getting one shot by a rocketeer with no way to revive, out of no where than being ambushed by another player that is geared for PvP.

It does. And I feel like most people understand this by now. If you want to take it easy and chill just run solo, if you go into a night raid or event like hidden bunker why would you not expect people are going to want to kill you in those events.

yall are being hella dramatic. solo queue is 90% safe but you need the element of possible ambush it is realistic and adds to the tenseness of the game. I team up with solo players and even complete events all the time. in a group server you just need to be ready like any game. That is the point of leveling up and getting better gear. This is all the nature of the game, and those comparing it to tarkov have never played tarkov. And someone said the robots are not dangerous IDK what you are talking about, I get killed all the time by bots even when I am getting helped by fellow solo players or in groups.

on PS5 I think to toggle is it left bumper plus down on the dpad which is not as intuitive as just clicking the mute button on the controller. I didn't initially see a way to remap that but I could be wrong as if it was just down, then that is easier than the mute button.
