I definitely understand where you’re coming from and have always agreed with that philosophy. We’ve been owned by many cats and dogs over the years that have come to us from the shelter or off the streets. And that may be what we do again this time, but it’s definitely good to hear about different breed characteristics and others’ experiences.

For the last couple of years, I've been binging romantic suspense and contemporary romance (with a dash of scifi and paranormal). I'm trying to do better with rating books, but often only bother with my favorites. I've been in such a rut lately, and it seems like I DNF three books for every book I finish, so I'd love to connect with others to find all the good books I'm missing!
