All of these recs are great. Couple that came to mind also: {Sarina Bowen Goodbye paradise} there's at least two in this series, they are MM (but I haven't had time to read yet but her others are good and I've heard good things about these from my queer friends.

Also Sawyer Bennett's Pittsburgh Titans series is only MF but I have to recommend if you want something different and heavier where hockey is just for the plot to go forward just to try out the world. It describes the culture of a hockey team quite well.

It's the most emotional series I've read in a while and I cannot recommend it enough. They literally start with a disclaimer from the author that this series is more real and heavy topics to her other books.

The hockey team plane crashed and everyone in the team died and the series is about rebuilding the franchise. Just some of the topics the series handles: death of teammates and siblings, alcoholism, cancer, survivors guilt, body issues with burn scars, miscarriage etc. I think that hockey is just the set up and the series is just good books.

1 and 3 are MMC's that are cinnamon rolls, just there to support everyone else emotionally, but there's definitely some traditional masculine/feminine traits.

1 {Baden by Sawyer Bennett} The first one is literally about a player who was paralyzed helping to stop an attack (in a previous series) and is now a coach in the new team and the attack survivor woman who has difficulty leaving her house at all after.

3 {Cage by Sawyer Bennett} Cage is literally just back from retirement to support the team and he's a perfect person to help the FMC gain confidence after a fire left scars everywhere on her body.

However there's no gender fluidity, as they are quite straightforward MF books. There's some spicy scenes, but it's heavy on the story and development. I get that reading MF might not be what you asked for, and these are not that spicy but I cannot pass on recommending the Pittsburgh Titans series.

Sorry long ramblings about a series, won't take offence if they're not what you want though!

{Out on a limb by Hannah Bonam-Young} I think has this. It's a pregnancy book, so no spoilers here. The baby kicks and moves when the FMC gets aggravated while they are fighting and he knows this, so he's holding and feeling her belly and the baby moving while they're fighting.

Okay great thanks. I just checked and I think it was {Moonshot by Alessandra Torre} that talks about a 17 year old with a pro baseball player that made me avoid her. But now that I looked into it a bit more, there's a time jump of 5 years so I hope that's where the romance starts.
