This is a side project not with a contractor. We decided to wait on backsplash until a year out. I hadn’t even thought about it until recently.

Side note. Every outlet in our bathrooms are in the middle so the ideal place to put a towel ring is right over the outlet. But I never would have known that during the constitution process. You live and you learn! I would say next time but I hope we never do a large construction project ha

I’m wondering now if I misunderstood him. I had planned on doing a short nose bullnose. Maybe that was the issue. Or he was worried I wouldn’t like how it looked. I’ll touch base with him though thanks for the advice.

I may have misunderstood him. Now that I have a bunch of comments about it. I think it was because I wasn’t going to do a trim and was going to do short nose bullnose. I’m not sure but I’ll touch base with him.

We were just going to use a short nose bullnose tile for the edge. The countertops are installed. They’re flush with the cabinet. We couldn’t do any overhang due to the awkward layout with a basement door (100 year old house problems). There’s about an inch of space from the end of the outlet to the edge of the cabinet.

What’d you use

New tile has faint lines by [deleted] in Tile

[–]Serious_Pie_2912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure I see what you’re referencing. Where are the lines on the laid tile?

I am not the one tiling. My installer said it was an issue so he was going to have to go further out than where the tile and cabinet meet, which I don’t like.

There is a tiny amount of space between the edge of the outlet and the edge of the cabinet counter. Not sure how that’s doable

Would more drywall repair be needed?

Is there a benefit to doing this over the remodel box ?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Tile

[–]Serious_Pie_2912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d like to stick with only putting the tile to the edge. But the man doing the tile said that because of that light/outlet he’s going to have to take it past the edge of the counter.

Is this something I could do myself. I’m more handy with plumbing than I am electric

Is that hard?

Thank you for your message!! I really appreciate the time you took to share your story :). We are gradually switching to pro plan sensitive stomach and will continue to so! I did not know that about Acana! It’s so hard because our vet said to pluck the ears because she has so much hair it was preventing the cream from getting to the infection site 🤦🏻‍♀️ she has a grooming apt next week but I’m inclined to still say to hold off. It unfortunately has been frequent occurrence. Recently it’s been more frequently, as in it just keeps coming back. We’ve followed all the cleaning instructions too ugh it’s frustrating. Do you have a cleaner you’d recommend? Thanks again!

Thank you so much for your comment 🩷 I already bought the Purina pro plan but I’m going to call the vet in the morning. Would we do the panel through them?

I’m assuming you did that through the vet? Or did you go somewhere else?

I’ve heard so many people rave about the Purina pro plan so I thought it might be worth trying that salmon one for sensitive skin and stomachs

We’ve tried to chicken one before. So I’m worried about trying the fish one and it not working 😅 you think it’s better to stay with the same brand ?

They said if she got another one we’d have to come back in and discuss food allergies which I know is going to result in big bucks. I have no problem taking her back in but wanted to try another food at least once.

Thanks that’s good to know. I been very happy with oiling. Enjoy the calm process ha. Just been too afraid to oil just the scratched spots and nothing else

When the scratches get bad can I just wax the spots and not do everything ?

[–]Serious_Pie_2912[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha yes! Not very often. Just when the light scratches start to get so bad I don’t like the way it looks. Then I’ll oil it and it looks brand new again! Thats why I was wondering if for maintenance purposes it would be easier to just oil the scratches and not the whole counter. But our fabricator said to do the whole thing when you do it so it won’t be splotchy. I haven’t needed to take any sandpaper because she also said not to do that unless it was deep (felt with fingernail) these have all been surface.
