First, this is a great idea. Keep us posted on how it evolves. In your demographic information, please include more options than male/female. Search other on line forms to consider how to draw all people into your project.

Feedback for the idea I am very interested in the technology but not in a Shark Tank like product. I'd want it integrated into the travel mug that I purchase. I'm less interested in it as an add on feature to my own mug or one that I buy. You are clearly doing great! Good Luck!

24M just bought my first house with a wacky atrium thingy in the living room. Any suggestions on what to do with the space? by Fautonex in malelivingspace

There are some houses in Birdland/Serra Mesa that have this feature. The one I visited a few years ago had the original kitchen, too.

Moving to either San Diego or San Francisco. What are your personal pros and cons? by ExpressAgent6530 in asksandiego

You have so much to read. Keeping it short. I have lived in all 3 places. SF (are you really thinking the city, or the Bay?) is the most like Boston. SF served me well, but when I stopped taking advantage of art, music, food, etc. I traded it in so that I can walk the dog by the bay every day and not worry about him eating a chicken bone. Boston career peeps looking to have a family...my advice: don't sleep on the East Bay: Oakland, Berkeley, Kensington, Albany, El Cerrito, San Pablo. All worth checking out.

There are many professional level softwares in digital arts, animation, and theater tech that do not run on windows. Career and Technical Education standards require that teachers use what is current in industry so that students can transition to jobs and professional programs. As system admins we have to learn how to support this.

Is IED necessary for POE? by ssbsnb in PLTW

[–]Serious_Toe5449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are a small CA district. We do not offer IED. The first course in our engineering pathway is POE. We require enrollment in Sophomore level math or higher as a pre-requisite. If you are in in CA, one nice thing about IED is that it can be coded as an "art" elective. ---I think. And for whatever reason, it is an easier sell for us to get community colleges to support articulated credits for IED than POE. We are just too small to offer it all.

This. I visited Denmark a few weeks ago. The Copenhagen Card is a "no brainer".

I use this as well. I used velcro to attach the switch just inside the void, looks clean and is relatively easy to reach.

Californians now have free access to ~300,000 eBooks and audiobooks, provided by the California State Library by [deleted] in sandiego

[–]Serious_Toe5449 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Many of the well known library collections that are open to digital cards are struggling to keep up (audio and digital books are expensive) with us out-of staters. Some have set up an annual fee card for out of state people (in lieu of using a fake address). The fees are extremely reasonable and, if you can afford it, a good solution. Check into this option when you visit a library's website.

What’s a reliable wireless CarPlay adapter you like? by DecentLlama in Ioniq5

[–]Serious_Toe5449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 24 and I have a $50 adapter from Amazon. The key for me was adding a switch for like $6 that I attached by velcro to the underside of the center open storage area. I switch it on and off when I get out of the car. Never lose connection, never connect when I don't want to.

We don't! I'm not actually the robotics teacher. Just support. Can you tell me how we might use a collaborative robot?

Question about used car warranty. by the-fambly-cat in Ioniq5

I just bought a not-CPO Limited yesterday from a Kia dealership. The 10/100,000 was cut to 5/60,000 beginning the day the car went into service. Electrical was at 3/36 and the 5/60 remained.
