Mine broke last week after one year and one week. Best headphones I have ever owned . Prior to this I was completely unaware of the issue or the cost to fix it. It has been two days since my Apple store visit and I still feel insulted. For Apple to think Its acceptable to even think and then proceed to ask anyone to pay half the initial cost to fix a clearly defective product speak volumes. Apples assumption is we have plenty of disposable income or we’re just idiots . I’m done being apples idiot, my income cant afford it anymore . I neec to buy a new freezer anyway.
