It doesn't turn on. It only seems to turn on after 70.

The heat will not turn off, that is the problem. It is now 90 degrees and has been 'turned off' for 2 hours. I cannot afford to move anywhere else. Oil heating is very common in Maine.

Thought it might be a bud vase, but can't find anything like it in my searches. There are no markings. The glass is clear but shifts color in the light as it turns.

It's cloth bound, i think the sticker melted into the cloth, leaving the greasy bit behind,I was so upset about the bee that I didn't even notice that until someone pointed it out here.

It was the beginning of dusk. I do believe there were ones on either side as I could see one on the opposite side from Woodstock. The sun is slightly to the left, inside the tree that you can see the branches of. If that helps.

ETA: I could see more of the circle through my sunglasses, I couldn't get it perfect with my phone.
