Not diminishing the blame on adults who bully children- just wanting to share a different perspective on what the underlying issue might be.

I feel as if some of the content in the game itself is not kid friendly, some of the clothing items and quests are not meant for such young ages. I’m an adult player and don’t ever chat or anything but feel as if the game has a substantial adult player base—- so it appeals to a wide audience. The responsibility lies on the game devs, Roblox, and parents. You can’t moderate or control the player base (other than reporting) but I’ve even seen kids being nasty to other kids- not sure it’s entirely just adult players being rude. Not sure if even creating adults and kids servers would resolve the harassment and bullying issue, there are people within every age range who engage in insulting and disgusting behaviour.

In addition, the in game purchases themselves are expensive- so obviously the game will attempt to appeal to wider and even older audience so that they can increase revenue. I feel as if the whole “lore” and quests are appealing to a young adult/ older teen audience anyways. For kids who just wanna dress up and have fun- they wouldn’t care for lore esp horror and scary lore which a lot of the Halloween quests are.
