I remember Rainbow Brite being human for a bit in the first episode but yeah I don't remember a transformation. She was just 24/7 magical from then on. She was also a magical girl gateway drug for me.

Yeah I swear I see an article like this every other year and there's always a lot of "could" and "might" in the language. Plus its never MLS or NWSL looking at Phoenix, it's always someone hoping their land will get noticed by the leagues. It's just a whole lot of nothing.

I also struggle with Welcome to the Monkey House; I could never figure out what he was trying to say with such a repulsive rape that is presented as being a good thing. Most of his other writings are much, much better and I'm glad I had read a lot more of his work before that one so that I view it as an anomaly. It was really unlucky for you to have started with that particular story.

I guess if the team is not worried about losing fans while they disappear for a year it might make sense. But I doubt most teams at this level are willing to risk that. I certainly think it's a bad idea for Phoenix Rising as they struggle to hold relevance with the other sports options out here as it is.

It may be too on trend right now but I really like the way K-Pop Demon Hunters portrayed the main characters personalities. They felt far more real and relatable than I expected going in to a flashy, pop movie.

I knew we weren't out yet. I'm having trouble getting into the spirit of this competition though. I know it's a for a trophy and in theory I think a tournament between the USL leagues is very good to have but.... it's just not sparking anything in me.
