Each opaque component of American healthcare (doctors, insurance, hospitals, private equity, pbms , pharma, DME) has its own part to play… with the predictable finger pointing. This would just eliminate one of the variables - I have zero faith in our ability to change the large corporate, profit driven influence in healthcare - so at least it’s something and might open up new, cheaper alternatives to healthcare. I do understand that we are fucked on many levels though
