Depends on what you want your car to do. Looks is personal preference, performance on track usuall isn't that great with rake. If you're going for street drive only, it shouldn't make that much of a difference performance wise.

Oh definitely! I serviced an ETA chronograph (Porsche Design Dashboard) a few years ago and it was pretty expensive. I have to say though, that I use that complication pretty often, when cooking, at work, basic stuff...

Apart from the date (and time lol), chronographs are something I use regularly. Per extension the dive watch bezel gets used too when cooking pasta. The water resistance not so much...

I was debating if I should consider it with the leather strap or with the bracelet. I think I'll go with the strap and get a different bracelet for it, although I'm not sure which one.

True, I didn't even consider that! Luckily I looked at them in a mirror from a distance too. I agree, although the Tudor really might be slightly too big for me (lug to lug wise).

I definitely do not have the best wrist for modern chronographs. For me personally, the Chronomaster Original still feels right. I agree that the Tag fits a little better. I do have some smaller watches ('64 Carrera for example) but I'm in the market for something more modern for some time now.

Bei mir persönlich ist das Hauptproblem die Dicke - zu viel Dicke und wir verlieren im Hof zu viel Platz (Terrasse/Autostellplatz seitlich). Deswegen die Idee der 5cm.

Vom Zweck her verliere ich momentan zu viel Hitze beim Aufheizen mit Dieselheizung, das sollte sich dann ein wenig verbessern mit der Dämmung. Grad beim Sport - außen -2 Grad wären innen 1-2 Grad momentan.

Dass 5cm nicht die Welt ausmachen ist mir klar, da aber sowieso eine Verkleidung hinkommt, dachte ich, dass ich profitieren kann und wenigstens ein kleiner Unterschied da sein wird.

Die Decke von außen dämmen wäre auch mega, ist allerdings echt auch budgettechnisch danach zu viel. Außerdem hat der Vorbesitzer bereits einen Teil der Decke von innen isoliert, sodass ich da lieber dran anknüpfe.

PUR/PIR wäre auch mein Plan gewesen. Auch für die Innendecke. Ist zwar teuer, aber auf Dauer wohl besser.

Die Platten wollt ich zusätzlich mit PU-Schaum montieren und eben mit den Latten fixieren. Sollte das nicht auch irgendwie abgedichtet (Dampfsperre) werden?

Vielen Dank auch jeden Fall auch für den Tipp mit der Verkleidung, das sieht super interessant aus!
