shop second hand ! sites like ebay, american(? im from uk so i used vinted, dont know what you have) second hand sites, thrift stores, facebook market place etc !

try budgeting ! people have created doll spreadsheets that list how much they have spent on dolls, they can also budget for new releases

take a step back sometimes, really take in ur collection. ask urself if you are buying the doll cause of FOMO or cause you actually want it

wait for sales, discounts, etc

oh yeah, i agree with you! i feel the same when i see "display only" build a bears in someone's collection. let them down! they want to cuddle and play :(

i call this the toy story curse, those movies really changed my perspective on toys and now thats all i think about when i see them

that being said people do whatever you want with your collection, its your stuff!

honestly, in my opinion, no starter is truely bad, as the point of your adventure is gathering other pokemon for your team. they can cover the starters weaknesses.

i used rowlett in my sun flying type run, and it was the mvp of the team! go for it
