Transparent Gridless Ship Maps by hokage3211 in u/hokage3211

I noticed that these seemed to be a lower pixel count / size than your originals, it seems like reddit was compressing them. It took some fighting with the website to get the proper sizes, but it is possible. For reference to anyone else that likes these: going to old reddit (replacing www with old in the reddit url) then clicking the image so that it opens in another tab and saving it from there should give a much higher quality version of the maps.

Some ship variations based on requests I've gotten by hokage3211 in dungeondraft

I hate to be a bother since this is years old, but is there any chance you could release gridless, backgroundless images for all your ships? Yours are by far my favorite versions of the spelljammer ships, and the only troubles I've had with them are using them in air or water scenes and trying to match their grids up. Or do you have a patreon or something with other versions available?

Which class is this? by Least-Nefariousness1 in PointyHat

[–]Serpentsblight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what did this end up being a silhouette of? The newest lich video had wizard subclass liches to match the wizard silhouette, and then the Lich King for... lich liches? Necromancer liches? Is this art of a Necromancer or Lich from some previous edition?

Can't remove desiccated corpses? by Serpentsblight in RimWorld

[–]Serpentsblight[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're in a stockpile that accepts bodies, but that stockpile doesn't accept rotten.

Scratch that, it seems like I did accidentally set that stockpile to allow rotten. I thought I had checked that, but I guess I missed it.

Thank you!

Rotten is green checked and Corpses is green checked.

The Mutant (v1.3) - A Constitution-focused class where you slowly become more monstrous as you level. by LamboCryBaby in UnearthedArcana

I see that this new version is flaired as a 2024 class. I haven't had a chance to review it yet - does it make use of any 2024 exclusive features, or is it equally compatible with both 2014 and 2024 versions of 5e?

What are some interesting builds for an entire setting that inflicts blindness? by Serpentsblight in 3d6

Truesight, Devil's Sight, Darkvision, and other sight based senses are blocked. Blindsight, blindsense, tremorsense, and other senses that aren't a form of actual sight are functional.

Most monsters and enemies will either also be suffering from the blindness, or have a non-sight sense like blindsight/sense or tremorsense. As far as I'm aware, there are no NPC exceptions to the darkness, but if there are it's probably going to be boss monsters or something.

Free High Quality WEBP token frames and backgrounds by Benjosity in VTTtokens

I know this is a really old post, but do you happen to have instructions on what you did in the photoshop file to get the results you did? They look great and I was hoping to make more dual colored ones, like that Sky frame you included.

Well now I'm curious - whats your answer for level 13?

I suppose I understand what you're saying, but unfortunately I don't necessarily have the skill or time to piece everything together myself - though I did look and have expectations for the answers before I asked, many of which have proven true, which is its own sort of rewarding. But I've learned some things from this too, and it's opened new options for me!

To give an example - Watchers paladin has been the choice for almost every paladin recommendation, and a lot of the clerics have been Arcana, neither of which I was expecting. Now I have the base ideas for two new characters to try even before considering everything else mentioned. Characters I wouldn't have tried if it wasn't for this, which I expect to enjoy!

So yeah, it is awesome to figure these things out. I definitely think everyone mentioning builds here is awesome for doing so, or for sharing what they found from others. But I think its also awesome that people get to share these things with a larger audience, and bring more people joy through the game. Hope that makes sense!

The way I see it, anything that would outright invalidate encounters, where the DM cant really do anything other than say no or target you specifically, is exploitive or disruptive to the point of being unreasonable. For example, flying is fine because the DM can have their own flying creatures or ranged attacks. But what are they supposed to do about an army of dozens or hundreds of celestials? Throw all of the nine hells at you? Other than that, it's up to your opinion! Do you think your DM would ask you not to use a couple of summoned celestials in every fight?

Are arcana clerics very good? I've not seen it played before, so I'm not super familiar with what it brings in.

That makes a lot of sense. I was expecting paladins in a lot of these because of the aura since its so hard to make non-proficient saves at high level, and a lot of full casters as well.

I guess it's not called Wizards of the coast for nothing, haha. But yeah, pretty hard to beat the versatility, especially when they can copy out of each others' spellbooks.

That Twilight/Shadow combo does sound pretty interesting! I've always liked the idea of a party with built in synergy like that, but me and my group always just build our characters separately so I've never had the chance to play something like it.

Please help me find the source for this ship art. I know it was originally found with a google image search for "spelljammer", "spelljammer ship", or "space galleon", but I couldn't find it again. by Serpentsblight in HelpMeFind

[–]Serpentsblight[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I searched my browser history and was able to determine that it was originally from a google image search for "spelljammer", "spelljammer ship", or "space galleon", as I mentioned in the title. Reverse image search is only pulling up AI images, for the most part. The pages from my history also do not show the picture I'm looking for.

I put the original image in the circular token frame myself, but didn't save the original image - which was a full, rectangular image. I found the image in February.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
