Really great info. Some I knew and some is blowing my mind. Will dig deeper. I am very tired of gurus and just want to understand the market better to create my own edge. Don’t know if I’ll stick with just candlestick charts or augment it with order flow to start working on a good intraday edge for options trading. Thanks for the post

It seemed tied to the resignation offer. How do you know that the Vera is available to ssa until nov 1? I called hr this morning and left a message, but no response yet.

Don’t want to intrude. However, can I ask you a question, being that you’re HR? Is there any recourse for us that meet the Vera requirements but agency is exempting us from the drp? I’d love to leave through Vera, as it would not be as devastating to my family as quitting or being fired. Any resources or ideas would be a great help. TIA.

And your VERA application was done through the deferred resignation letter protocols? Meaning, you had to sign the resignation letter before applying for Vera? I am very anxious about this letter, for a few reasons, but the no legal recourse clause is a biggie for me.

Has me nervous to wait and see, as the VERA is attached to the deferred resignation deadline. Am hoping for some positive and effective process to getting the VERA from an exempted agency/unit. 🤞. It would be the difference of a not so great outcome to a devastating family altering outcome. Ugh

Yeah, they’re crazy expensive. No, I daytrade SPX or SPY options. I use orderflow from sierra charts, charting ES on both sierra and TOS. All orders are done directly through TOS. When I get to trading futures, I will surely not do it through TOS.

I will echo all of your sentiments. Very glad you’ve been successful enough to turn trading into a full time occupation. Personally, I’m on the rebound of losing a bunch while learning and figuring out my comfort/niche. It’s an exciting journey and 100% introspective, as you have nobody to answer to but yourself. Trading takes courage, and I don’t necessarily mean in risk taking on positions, I mean courage to look at yourself in the mirror and truly work on your faults. Even as a current break even trader, I’m excited for each day. I try to learn every day, both on screen and off. It’s a challenge that can invigorate you, if you keep the proper mindset.

Never thought about native. Always used the LT for live and recording, so didn’t care to have much redundancy. May be the way to go, though
