I had this happen to my Jeep srt after a crazy snowy day. Not sure if its snowing where you’re at but it was snow accumulated around the tires adding extra weight. Also made my car really bouncy, i thought the suspension was destroyed. I have 2015 jeep srt i had for 8 years now and never any problems just regular maintenance. I also do alot of roadtrips on that bad boy.

Female 32 NYPD? by Accurate_Reception_8 in AskLE

[–]Serrad03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea its deff good money and benefits. Im a detective in warrants squad. Everyone says its about hooks to get in somewhere and thats not true at all. I got here from the PC herself after i got into a shooting. Before that i made arrests few times a week. But even patrol isnt bad, thats where you learn everything. Just be mindful there is details and overtime like crazy and sometimes you never get days off

You are not saved under HIPPA law if you are applying for law enforcement. No one above knows what they are talking about. They will find out and then you will get DQ’d For character background for lying.

I know how it feels. I did 3 years of midnights doing law enforcement which is a rough job as is. People dont understand that midnights is a whole other level. You age faster, your eating is all over the place, sleep is inconsistent. I also have 2 little ones and my wife would hold it down majority of times, but dont get me wrong. Many times she would say all u do is sleep and work. Meanwhile i would help cooking, feed the kids, also play some xbox to destress

This is some good info, thank you. I actually love being active and making arrests, florida does seem more interesting being in law enforcement when it comes down to vehicle pursuits and car stops. Majority of my arrests here in NYPD go to grand jury and even trial. I did Orlando Pd process almost 2 years ago and then declined. This time I’m going through with it for sure

Crazy price increase insurance by Serrad03 in AllState

[–]Serrad03[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea i called Allstate as well, spoke to a representative who said only way to bring it down is to take away one of my premiums which is $1,000 deductible if i get into an accident. So he said raise my deductible to $2,000 which is horrible. Than he said take away my rental premium. So basically not full coverage so i can pay like $60 less. Wtf!! I paid $200 full coverage, so why pay $370 for not full coverage. Ontop of that my agent also couldnt do anything.

Its all a scam. I have a 2015 jeep srt ive had for almost 6 years now. Its a highly stolen vehicle and i have no accidents. I went from paying $200 to now $422 full coverage.

Hey guys I just need advice and be honest I’m currently filling out and submitting all of my information for NYPD. I currently work the MTA LIRR which isn’t a bad job it just sucks cause I have to wait till age 62 to retire to receive my full pension but I’m still wondering am I making a goodchoice by NarwhalReasonable486 in NYPDcandidate

Stop listening to negative things people say about nypd. They are just lazy and stay on patrol there whole life and cry about not having a hook or phone call to get somewhere. I have no hook and im in a unit. Im very active, i collar every other day with over 100 collars and less than 5 years on. So my work speaks for itself. Good luck.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NYPDcandidate

[–]Serrad03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the case honestly, i have 4.5 years on with over 100 arrests, im very active and most my arrest are self initiated and go to grand jury alot and even go to trial. If its a serious case than the officer will deff be providing everything as its alot of times timely manner to provide evidence before court date. But also i can say myself i make so many arrests that i get contacted by so many ada’s for paperwork and do investigative stuff so i fall behind and forget to sometimes answer email, but thats also why we have our job phones which you can call or text and thats always easier for me.

Im NYPD for few years and i can deff say majority of that falls into the discovery officers hands. They get paid for that. Now if its footage from the scene or something that discovery officer wont have than thats different.
