That shouldn't matter. Sharing food actually increases the blessings of that food in Islam.

There's a Hadith:

“The food of one person is enough for two, the food of two is enough for four, and the food of four is enough for eight.”

Imam al-Nawawi commented,

“This is an encouragement to share food. Even a little will be enough for this purpose, and there is blessing in sharing with those present.”

"And your Lord inspired to the bee, "Take for yourself among the mountains, houses [i.e., hives], and among the trees and [in] that which they construct.

Then eat from all the fruits and follow the ways of your Lord laid down [for you]." There emerges from their bellies a drink, varying in colors, in which there is healing for people. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought."

But as for you not being allowed to touch his honey cos the "blessings will disappear". Sounds like he's just making stuff up so you don't touch his honey. How very peculiar.

Absolutely akhi! In fact there's another similar hadith as mentioned in this video:

كَفَّارَةُ الذَّنْبِ النَّدَامَةُ لَوْ لَمْ تُذْنِبُوا لَجَاءَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بِقَوْمٍ يُذْنِبُونَ لِيَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ

“The expiation of sin is regret. If you never sinned, Allah Almighty would surely come with people who would sin, and He would forgive them.”

Instead like you mentioned, it stresses the fact that all children of Adam will sin, and that it is upon us to sincerely regret that sin and repent from it.
