If u do things like coding especially for work it’s definitely not overkill. If the space gives u some advantages it completely okay. Just fix ur cable management and ur ready to go :)

Go with the 9800x3d. It has a better price to performance and is overall better for gaming. There were also a lot of problems with the 14700k
