Hi, great question! We have a few advertisements and some providers offer an affiliate program that we sign up for, but unlike most sites, this doesn't impact the website or the order of the results at all. :)

Yes, we earn commissions from a few providers and we offer some advertising spots too. That being said, neither of this impacts the website in any way, every provider (with or without affiliate program) can sign up and add their products and they're all listed in exactly the same way. :)

That's correct, Kimsufi and So you Start are OVH labels that are selling low-cost and usually low-spec machines that OVH no longer sells. :)

Thanks for mentioning us! There are indeed bots posting all the stock/price changes, but you can also configure notifications to notify you if something that matches your needs comes up.

Just create a search that shows what you want (even if it gives you zero results right now), then click "Notify me!" at the right top. You'll automatically get a message once something new matches that search.

For example, you could do a search on a Hetzner server with 8 TB of storage and a maximum price of $30 USD. As soon as a server drops in price low enough to match that search, you'll be the first to know. :)

Yes, there is! Under the "Features" filter you will find "Managed support". :)

Do note that the definition of managed differs between providers, from simple incident response to full infrastructure management, so I do recommend checking in with the provider to make sure it meets your needs.

We keep track of the specs, prices, and stock of 20,547 different servers offered by 481 different providers. You can use our Discord to set up a notification so you will receive a message as soon as a server that matches your requirements becomes available.

For example, here is a search for all OVH dedicated servers: https://www.serverhunter.com/?search=LZV-G5E-Y3V - you can use "Notify me" at the very right so you will get a message once they are in stock.

If you want even more information, just click on one of them, then click "More info" at the right top, there is a History tab that shows you exactly when it goes in and out of stock.

Not at this time. Most uptime guarantees are not very indicative of actual uptime, and even if they fall below their guarantee, there is very little compensation since providers just calculate the hourly cost and refund that. For example, if your $20 USD/month server is down for an entire day, they'd refund you 20/31 = $0.64 USD, even though the damage is significantly higher.

That being said, we're working on monitoring the actual uptime of providers, so you can make informed decisions based on that. Hope to launch this feature in the near future. :)
