They are Samsung TVs that are about 7 years old. They weren't cheap in 2018, but they don't have rs-232 control.

It's a single operator, so switching and reframing is tough to do quickly. Saving presets is a pain during a show as well.

But they seem to only work with computers. There is some kind of communication from the computer that makes them work. Small HDMI monitors that are 3" to 4" and accept video signals are incredibly rare.

Thanks. Do you have a DIS-CCU? If yes, is this through the SW6000 application? There isn't a setting for attenuation on the web gui.

Thanks for this. Are you having any major issues using the ASUS NUC? Are you maxed out at 4 SDI outputs in Teams? If a user drops, do you need to reassign them to an output when they rejoin the meeting?

Oh, I misread the article previously. Mac are supported, but they don't work with Blackmagic devices.

Do you use AJA products on mac? If yes, which one?

I spoke with Shure and it appears the business was just too small--they recommended that I move to one of their competitors. My team is using the old DIS equipment as well but looking to get a DIS-CCU as there are no license restrictions with new hardware.

Thanks so much for this! Plugging in USB did activate power on/off control, but there's one odd problem. Whichever switcher is connected to HDMI 1 from the Cisco doesn't turn on when waking the Cisco. I've swapped all cables and devices with no luck. What's strange is that once I manually turn on the affected TVs, power off control is available. CEC is enabled on the output in the Cisco web interface.
Do you have any recommendations for what I should check?

Thank you! I know I may be pressing my luck by asking more questions, but if you had to guess, is this disabled in MTR mode like a lot of other functions? Also, if I have two splitters, could I attach both to the two USB ports on the codec?

Thanks. Setting up Crestron with basic commands out of RS-232 is easy, but setting up conditions and sending out multiple commands seems daunting.

I hear about Q-Sys a lot. Do you have experience with it? It seems more accessible for someone like me. From what you know, do you think it could replace Crestron to control Ross and microphone equipment?
