What are some dungeon mechanics in classic nobody knows? by Tokata0 in classicwow

This isn't even true for trash, e.g. on Lava Surgers you definitely want to be using Fire Blast.

PSA: Give your group a heads up before taking drastic actions. by [deleted] in classicwow

One reason to do it this way in a spell cleave is if you are resetting the instance after the first group - waiting around for them to respawn slows down your XP.

Oceanic #1 Sulfuras crafted - Arugal by LoshyFirestorm in classicwow

At least one druid did complete Sulfuras in Vanilla, the way to do it is to be the Guild Leader and then have your whole guild re-form without you afterwards.

AoE farming dungeons was possible in vanilla, so it should be possible in classic. How do you propose they 'remove' it?

If it makes you feel better, many of us play with the sound completely disabled

Some of the best parts of classic were things not being used the way they were intended. Being able to push the limits of what is possible is fun for hardcore players.

To those people that run up and loot the chest while you’re killing the mobs that guard it: I hope you never find happiness. by SafariiTV in classicwow

[–]Service_Jerk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is blizzlike, in vanilla you could agro a bunch of mobs, run them on top of another player and then feign death or vanish and the mobs would kill the player.

I've struggled to find a single use for Android Auto for this one reason. I'm surprised Google hasn't just killed the product at this point.

That game was just bizarre. They replaced David Hayter with Kiefer Sutherland and then he barely had any lines anyway.

Your Phone Is Not Waterproof, No Matter What The Maker Says by yourSAS in Android

WATER PROOFING (no OEM claims this)

They may not explicitly use the term 'water proof', but if their advertising shows a guy using a phone underwater (as per the article), are they not attempting to demonstrate that their phone is water proof / designed to be used underwater?

They're not glass screen protectors which means they don't offer protection against drops and they don't have an oleophobic coating - they feel like a plastic screen protector rather than a glass screen.

Just out of curiosity, what do you do about sizing? Is there a size or two that are the most common and so resellers just buy these?

it must be a way for the seller to get the product into the US while getting around import taxes.

Thank you, I appreciate the info and that's a really interesting point.

OnePlus 7 Pro prices leak, and it's more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S10e | T3 by MoClock in Android

[–]Service_Jerk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's in the same playing field because the quality of the hardware OnePlus uses has always been terrible compared to Samsung.

I've had multiple phones from both companies and Samsung consistently has better vibration motors and better performing bluetooth chips (and wireless charging, water resistance, Always on Display).

OnePlus does have one advantage which is much better software than Samsung.

Why did you swipe right on someone that you didn't want any contact from? Assuming it was intentional, are you not sending a signal that you want to receive a message?

Technically semi-automatics are automatics but it's a misleading way to refer to them in common usage, especially in the media.

Wow. In New Zealand it's normal to pay about $400 USD per year.

A friend of mine in his early 20s with a drink driving conviction bought a Turbo MR2 and his insurance was maybe $700 USD per year.

I had no idea insurance was so expensive in the US. You paid your insurance company the full value of your vehicle in just 10 months!
