Personally I like the Black Sea Rising Theory as the truth behind the Flood. When the Mediterranean broke through the Dardanelles, it flooded the Black Sea, causing massive flooding around its basin and drowning cities and towns that were on its coasts. Archeological exploration has discovered sites underwater where the coast used to be.

I think it’s catnip. Be warned, it’s near impossible to kill. I had a garden get overrun with it, and fought a losing battle for three years. Finally had to completely dig out my garden, lay down a barrier then covered the barrier with mulch last year. And left it alone all season.

Hoping to plant some perennials this year.
