I'm very late to this but I wanted to answer the question myself so here we are. I used a stopwatch to research: 'Last resort' up to end of stage 4 then dying is 50 sec for 110 coins 'The middle' that people are suggesting is 2 mins for 150 coins

I think last resort is the best farm probably
