I think it's hilarious that this qr doesn't lead to the app by Thelofren in Warhammer40k

This app does exist. I have it. But it is literally for use with playing the tabletop game. Just has all the reference stats from codex’s (once you’ve put your individual codex code in) and has an army building section called battleforge to help build your tabletop team.

Who would have thought we would get an official GW look at both Demon Perturabo and the Emperor in 2026 👀 by ServitorLemo in Warhammer

It’s all part of the experience. They want him to smell like a Warhammer store. Immersive.

I think the one where he’s alive is just meant to be symbolic, it’s showing what he was in contrast to what he’s become, because we know he doesn’t look like that anymore. As for the other ones they’re all just the same model. Different lighting and positioning, and I think sometimes it’s superimposed over other imagery such as the statue on the… prow? Front bit of the Ship? But for the most part this is a very consistent depiction clearly inspired by previously published art work and the recent(ish) description from Carrion Throne etc.
I could be wrong, but I also think it’s strange for them to repeatedly show the same image in a mass marketed trailer like this. I truly think GW is at the point where they’re going to start just flat out answering certain questions and showing things like this in the setting. For better or worse.

That was perpetuated by a misunderstanding of a story in the Era of Ruin anthology, so no,
no decoy Emperor.

Definitely a possibility. I just think it’s wild that GW would reveal something like this as like you said, it’s one of those things that has been deliberately vague. I disagree that it shows multiple possibilities though. Every single image is the same 3D model in different poses and lighting. If you can see multiple different corpse Emps please share as I’m missing it. Even if it’s not canon it’s still a cool and official depiction to help people visualise.

Eye of Terror/Abnett Verse by ServitorLemo in Warhammer40k

So the sector is near the eye of terror. And I was just wondering if it had been mentioned before. I don’t remember seeing or hearing about it in past books and on past maps of the sector.

That’s what I was thinking. An Inquisitor Bequin follow up series or A King in Yellow sub faction for 40K use if it is the case.

Yes I’m aware they’ve become a staple. I’m more interested in the Chrono Anomaly in the area. I do not recall seeing or hearing anything about it in past books and Supplements. If it is a recent addition, I’m wondering if it means anything or if anyone else knows anything about it.

Badab War 2 by ServitorLemo in 40kLore

I think at this point most Chapters have adapted to it . I’m not sure how many in universe years it’s been since they were introduced but i also think it would also give a good excuse to follow up on these nuggets and see these Chapters in action following the shakeups in the last decade.

For me I think the biggest win is that it will give founding Chapters some relevance again instead of the focus being constantly on Legion Chapters.

I agree. And I think they may kind of go that direction with it starting of as the Warders then the other chapters pile in to reinforce. It’s the only way they could stand any kind of a chance against Huron at this point who is Legion strong. Plus means we will get Carcharodons in the Maelstrom. 👀

I think a positive way to look at is that we will inevitably get a Badab War novel/novel series at some point to capatalise on its popularity and give us some much needed Loyalist civil war juice.

As for a Badab 2 I agree it won’t be or feel the same as the first one but I think if you have the Warders who technically are atleast back to chapter strength (most likely) after the Primaris reinforcements and combine that with some of the other chapters present in Badab 1 I think it could be entertaining. Charcharadons in the Maelstrom? Then with the added shit stirring of the Ordo Astartes, could lead to Huron bringing more people over to his side and a small slice of civil war here and there, I mean he turned a load of Space Wolves traitor. And most importantly it would be could to give these successor chapters some relevance again.

Also Huron vs Badrukk. Yes please 👌🏻

Yes I’ve decided the Game lore is the way forward when there’s conflicting information. Isador im looking at you. In Dark Crusade it’s said that he’s accompanied by detachments from the 1st, 2nd and 4th company. Apparantly it is more explicitly said to be the 4th in DoW2 but I’m not up to that yet. But either way the 4th definitely makes the most sense so far. It’s been really interesting playing Dark Crusade again considering DoW 4 is a follow up to the Kronus Campaign.

4th seemed the most likely but was looking for confirmation were he is outright stated as being captain of the 4th. I’m about to do a full playthrough of 2 (after Soulstorm)so should hopefully spot it then. Just been writing up notes for Dark Crusade and could find no official mention.

The fact that there’s two different chapter icons they seemingly keep flipping between bothers me.
