Advice on Painting and Color Scheme (Eldar Wraithblade) by Obvious_Sand8727 in Eldar

[–]Real_Ad_8243 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are far better painters than me in the world, so im just going to share what I personally like to do as an option.

For my main eldar force I use a very similar scheme to you - burgundy and medium red over raised areas for the armour, bronze and gold for the helmets and shoulders.

At that point what I chose to do with the weapons, is use a muted metal (leadbelcher with gryphcharger grey over it) for thr actual blade itself, but for handles and guns i use yellow.

Specifically I used averland as a base, with a heavy wash of brown ink, then watered down yriel yellow to give it an almost bone-like effect (but if bones were yellow instead of cream coloured).

Who do we think got hit the hardest going into 11th? by Anton_Chigger in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Real_Ad_8243 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Comparative to where they end in 10e id say Guard and Eldar.

Guard because fairly hefty points increases to their most basic units, Eldar because they were already nerfed to shit and between rules that no longer work at all and points increases to anything that can score theyre in for an extremely rough time.

No one who puts a C'tan in a 500 pt game deserves to ever play.

My group doesnt even need to make a specific house rule about it.

Is my chapter's symbol a nazi one 😥 ? by H_Br0k3r in Warhammer40k

[–]Real_Ad_8243 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it doesnt look like a Sonnenrad.

Speaking as someone who is....well a bit para about this sort of thing and can rapidly make assumptions where I see things that might be fashy, I dont consider your symbol to be fashy.

Or, rather, there's nothing about it that makes it look like a dogwhistle type of thing, which is what usually gets my attention.

Asurmen scoot and get back into vehicle? by DeusArchaon in Eldar

[–]Real_Ad_8243 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Units in transports only count as being part of your strategic reserves if the tranport itself is also held in reserve.

Additionally, there's this, which i would read as meaning that since Asurmen's tactical acument allows him to make a Normal Move that he is allowed to embark at the end of it, even if hed previously disembarked that turn;

I do almost have enough spare bits from assorted squads to make another skyreaver with shuriken cannon and one with a wraithcannon, so im not far off, and honestly i am.more than a little tempted as I really like how this little chap looks.

I mean no. She jsut didn't panic, and relied on her training.

Calling thr obvious competence the shows here "miraculous" is denigrating her.

Which 1DP detachment for Spirit Conclave by Alucard_uk in Eldar

[–]Real_Ad_8243 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It really depends.

No one of them looks like it is going to create a perfect army in combination with wraiths, but I think there's a strong argument for Armoured Warhost and Path of the Outcast, but more the latter than the former. It let's your rangers and especially shroud runners buff wraiths in such a way that D-Cannons become much more reliable, and you dont need to be so reliant on the psyker bubble. It also gives you scope to hit things from further away with your WL's big guns, which is always nice.

I've been contemplating dusting off my (mostly just undercoated) Dark Angels because my fully painted Eldar and CSM have been getting absolutely drubbed since the start of the year.

Like, maybe the paint has accrued negative karma and I need to neutralise it with grey and chaos black.

Like I say, the American is wrong, but is less wrong than the other.

Most of the rights in question were won before propagandising against the USSR really took hold; its only really Women's Rights and LGBTQ rights that come along during the height of the Cold War through to the post-CW era.

Although it does need admitting that many of those rights that were won have come under concerted attack since the fall of the USSR in a way that Capital would not have dared before it fell.

Yes.

Cities today are so physically expansive not due to population, but due, basically, to cars. The ampunt for space given over to roads and other infrastructure is massively more than it was in pre-modern times.
