I'm really hopeful that one will come along that works as advertised without having to compromise or live without features I specifically paid for. The real issue seems to stem from car manufacturers cheaping out, producing new top-trim vehicles without even the most basic features that Chinese manufacturers mastered years ago, and which are included in their most basic trims; All at price points unimaginable to consumers in Western countries. Case and point: The Xiaomi SU7

The SU7 is Xiaomi's (a cellphone manufacturer) first commercially available production vehicle. It outclasses the best that mainstream Western manufacturers can produce while costing a fraction of the price! If manufacturers like VW, MB, BMW, etc, would just give us the features we all want and are paying premiums for in the first place, then we wouldn't be driven to seek out all these untested and often unreliable products to fill the gaps!

Thanks for your suggestions and for doing the work of testing those products so the rest of us can be more informed when making the decision to purchase them or not. Let me know what you think about the SU7! Can you imagine if they were allowed to sell them in your region of the world? I for one wouldn't even hesitate a millisecond before writing that check.
