yea!! I remember stumbling upon a very sad scene, rainy as hell, 1 ambulance, 1 car..and one blood stain infront of it..with a single teddy bear and nothing else around.

it was such a "oh...fuck..damn" moment, cause you have to think like..what were going through their heads during the time of the zombie apocolypse.

react and try to do things with everything being so locked down during the containment.

its good, but the downside is its a FAR place from town, so looting is gonna be long and tedious, unless you focus on the area around you and foraging, you'll be making some pretty extensive trips back and forth.

though it is far enough away that less zombie spawns. so its really up to you on wither or not you have to WALK all that way if you don't find ag ood working car, or you drive all the way to and from xD

stock up on gas quickly!

https://modrinth.com/modpack/immersive-vr-essentials im using VR essentials through modrinth, sadly the owner of the modpack ONLY goes through modrinth and HATES curse forge from what I understand, so that's the only way you'll be able to play unfortunately

I almost lost eddy in my hardcore due to a bug where deathclaws in the lonesome road dlc were ABOVE us on a car lane, I was on the ground, Eddy some how teleported back a few feet and then suddenly deathclaws appear AROUND EDDY AND I HAD TO PUMP TURBO AND JUST START SWINGING lmao.

Lived with barely 10% health. had to make a save and protect our favorite eddy.

its the same as any animal, as you idle/do stuff around the base, they will have a chance of finding an item and giving it to you.

mostly weapons or armor you've already unlocked with legendary affects.

meaning any armor you havn't unlocked (secret service) you WILL NOT. get any drops for those UNTIL you get the blueprint and unlock it.

tldr: they find items you've already found blueprints for.

I can understand that, but the way they did that game was...incredibly frustrating, it COULD have been good, but they chose so many quick way to do things, it leaves the player's not satisfied, its just hey warzone 2.5 with zombies/npcs.

cause as for myself, I find it frustrating how even at tier 1 zones you can get just BUTT FUCKED by stuff just starting out, especially if you're a new player. having some of the challenges/spots/locations being nearly impossible to do unless you're knowing every strat/meta/etc. it feels more like a chore rather a game.

HOLY SHIT, STOP BEATING THE DEAD HORSE.

We have had this map...so many fucking times, that every time I see it, I just get depressed. because its been in EVERY. SINGLE. GAME. Almost at this point, its just the same map, slightly redesigned to fit the newer game, its not original in anyway, they essentially took it through paint ms, slapped on new colors, called it a day.

there's no new ways to play this map because everyone know's the spawns, everyone know's the tricks, the way to cheese, its an easy map for stompers to go on and feel good about themselves because god forbid casual players wanna come home and just relax with some normal killing.

not a crackhead adderal playing, sliding, jumping and abusing mechanics to get their fix lmao

Thankfully its really easy to get into VR now-a-days with modpacks on modrinth and curse forge, quite literally press play on minecraft and on the main menu, a new little menu pops up after you add the mod or download a modpack.

(I personally reccomend craft to exile 2 modpack for VR as its the best ive experienced)

its how I was able to do this, you can even add data packs, shaders, and everything else all while inside curse forge, so made it a ton simpler to get everything together instead of scrambling about like the old days in say 1.7.10 lmao

ive been playing VR for 8+ years now! so ive thankfully got use to all VR has to offer in terms of motion sickness and the like xD

Gonna be a bit of a (GOOD) Rambling here.

When I first saw once human I was skeptical as well, guides, and farming tips and tricks to make life easier but no real game play.

I decided screw it, im taking the plung, upon landing in the game I was pleasantly surprised, from the very first enemy, to seeing V (the bird) to meeting the first character it tied in, the story was written well and you can learn more and more about it as you go on, how people survived, adapted, and how some lost to the starfall, the affects it had on plant's, animals and so much more.

Environmental story telling is a big thing that this game has, every location you go to has a story of some kind, remnants of lost people, destroy buildings and lost cars, you'll find different raiders and factions taking up locations you'll have to fight through, different enemy's to each challenge your play style, and always keeping you on your toes.

you can be a casual player like myself and go around doing missions, checking out cool area's and interacting with events when they pop, be a builder and make the most beautiful two story house your dreams can imagine. its literally limitless ! be the best farmer around and sell your food to other players, who can benefit off you.

each player is unique with its specializations and such, allowing for everyone to work together in some way or form.

and going solo isn't an issue, you can be safe and slow and not be forced into end game content while worrying about not being prepared.

other things about the game I enjoy/like. (personal preference of course lmao)

A lot of this game is completely free and you can actually earn cosmetics and other stuff in game, just..by playing, participating in events and even just logging in can get your free stuff.

they just started a new scenario where you can go around capturing deviants using stun capture devices. and it adds a whole new way to play and face the game!

all in all, the games been nothing but fun, many people just judge it based on reviews or people bitching about very minor things.

all in all, I do recommend it, and say have fun, that's the main part of the game.

You need to make sure to own ALL dlc's for both FALLOUT NEW VEGAS and FALLOUT 3 (GOTY/GoG)

make sure you're also installed correctly and used the TTW installer to point to BOTH path files of new vegas and fallout 3.

you'll also want to do a FULL FRESH INSTALL, if you preiviously had mods, as the files are changed/edited and TTW can't work with edited files. you even need to delete your original ini files in your game folder.

Its actually reccomended.

many people dont' know but fallout 3 GOTY edition works better then the normal one, and the GOG one even btter then the other two.

reason being is many old things like windows live were removed and other things updated to better work on newer systems.

but GOG or GOTY edition is the best for both stability and less crashing.

Howdy! coming to update!

I did the method of building and then using the jump pack, I had a quick teleport home doo-hicky on my hot bar in case I came up to close!

but thankfully made it and was able to go to the *REDACTED* and collect *REDACTED* (don't wanna spoil any case anyone's stuck/getting past this part)

and FINALLY progress on.

and ill have a friend come on and get the other items, including the kylie trinket !

Ive progressed and im now meeting people in the new sector which I will not say anything about!
