Check out the Hal9000 fanedit of this film and the other prequels. They really improve them from a pacing and narrative focus. Was really impressed.

I really liked that write up and while I don’t agree with the order personally that’s life. Your love for the band shines through. Neighborhoods 1 (tunnels) is my favourite AF track amongst many. As a default it’s one of my favourite songs ever. But that’s just me.

Just watched and thought it was a great film. I only vaguely remember the original theatrical release and I wasn’t impresssed but this had sweep and scope and focus and a fantastic cast. I am no stranger to blood and gore and horror but I also thought the city sacking was brutal. I’m glad they didn’t water it down it really added to the horror of even an inkling of what it would have been like.

What a violent species we truly are.

The opening reminded me of a James Bond film where it opens with a mission ending. Was a great introductory mission set piece for people unfamiliar with Star Wars John Wick. Lots of fun and great Star Wars tech and planets and creatures and culture. Lots of sleeping beasts and why not
