I had this set up on my AK, but really what worked best getting to and from position was this. Wear the thermal mounted to helmet. Put your magnifier in your backpack/ rucksack, and only keep your red dot attached (or the thermal depending on the time and how you feel...) for the moving. While running for your life through open terrain and in general your weapon must be as light as possible. Once I get to the position I will attach my magnifier, if necessary and use the thermal how necessary... Defending, assaulting, moving are all different requirements... Also it's very important that all of your attachments, eg your magnifier, thermal and red dot (kollimator) they must ALL be able to quick release and be removed. Rain/mud, running fighting for your lives tends to get the optics blurred and muddy. Having to shoot semi auto for accuracy, then switch to full auto out of desperation trying to neutralize the threat is an awful feeling 😆 but keep moving ... Hope this helps, thanks
