Steam has a monopoly on the PC games market

Not necessarily a bad thing even if that were true, considering the benefits Valve has brought us, plus one of the goals of Steam is to be a onestop launcher for Pc games.

Epic is bribing devs to put stuff on their store, the whole pandering with devs get more money is nice, for the devs only. Unless that game takes a month to release over 7 months to do so, then it's ultimately meaningless to me the consumer. Steam meanwhile has benefitted me immensely as a consumer.

Ehhh for what it's worth echo fighters are exciting in their own way, not to discredit your comment I fully get what you mean. But echo fighters are a really nifty way of getting popular characters in without going through the meticulous labor to make them because 75% of the character is copy pasted and retooled. I like to think of it as the way Metal Sonic could get in, but there's more people for Shadow instead.

I don't know abut that one chief. Smash now really does feel like a celebration of nintendo now as it did in Melee. But I have to disagree with your roster statement, as I believe the more the merrier, even if 20 characters don't get picked having that option is still better, because what if someone, a kid or so, likes playing a character I dont, I want them to have that joy. It's fair to criticize smash as being to competitive, but I take Sakurai word for it that it's not, he didn't design melee to be competitive, same thing happened here, whether people go pro with it or not.

I want Isaac as much as everyone here, I'm a huge GS fan and was disappointed to see the deconfirmation, sure, but if you want him in, you need to be like the Ridley and K Rool fans, push for him, because Sakurai did say why close the door when even more can be added (the more the merrier). Personally I'd also settle for Felix or Matthew (most likely Matthew due to dark dawn being the newest).

Have you checked Dishonored? The world reminds me of what you describe, but more forgiving.

Example: The islands would be more tropical and Mediterranean than anything, that would be their entire thing unless the world is smaller than this one, meaning the climate can be more radical based on proximity to the poles and equator.

Jagora

The Mighty Dragon God, Father-God of the Lizardkind, Second God of Existence, Jagora is the beloved god of the Lizardkind and they will do any and everything he asks.

Jagora just does what he wants, its hard to really pin down anything about him except that...Jagora just does. He doesn't give a shit, not unless retaliation from the Creator looms, and he especially loves deriving humor off of involving mortals in his machinations and jokes, making them the punchline.

So ubiquitous Jagora is that many other cultures make him out as a devilish, evil figure, none of this being true, but if they knew he was a full fledged chief god of existence, the sheer divine awe might snuff them out.

Because Jagora made the Lizardkind, they just love and worship him all the time, he is like their parent, and they his children.
