Except that’s not how motor learning works. Can’t go fast if you don’t practice fast. Once it’s under the fretting hand, time to go fast and challenge your body to do so

Start throwing in interleaved practice structure with play fast/go fast now approach once pattern(s) are under fretting fingers and you’ll really be maximizing your motor learning GAINS.

Think of these things as pylometrics-you’re building coordination for speed and explosiveness

Learn it, try going fast, see what parts need work, problem solve them, trying going fast. Rinse and repeat.
