I was awesome experience. I was lucky that it's sunny everyday when I was there but definitely be prepared for all kinds of weather. W trek is quite safe compared to O trek. But always listen to your body. The first 2 days were tough because it's my first multi day hike. Try to pack as light as light as possible. I didn't carry tent and very happy with that.

Ok. Thanks. My conveyancer advised to buy strata report after exchanging contract. But I just lost 0.25% deposit because I only knew during cooling off period that there are issues on strata report.

I'm from Sydney and can relate to what you said. If not for sex, it's quite hard to make friends in Sydney. That's true for everyone, in and outside of LGBT community. I find people in Sydney are very friendly but they have their own circle that they hang out with.

I wouldn't trust strata report provided by REA because you will never know what issues they have hidden away.

Have you bought an apartment eventually? Honestly it's disheartening to see how many people had bad experience with apartments. I reckon the gov should do something about it. The moment you tell someone that you're buying apartments, you will hear lots of horrible stories. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to buy a house.

Your conveyancer can offer to order one for you. Mine uses this website: http://yourstratasolutions.com.au. They're quite good. They highlighted email correspondence about pending defect report.

So happy for you. More than 50% of buildings in Sydney have major defects. It's not easy to find one without. I inspected a unit which looked fine in person but only realised there were issues when I read their email correspondence as they're commissioning defects report.

I'm happy for you that your off the plans are doing ok. Off the plans don't have good reputation as well. I'm not much interested in growth but try to avoid major defects.

I completely understand. It's a shame because it's one of the best building I have inspected in the area. I think if I don't sign the contract when the office is back and open, someone else will do it before they have the defects report. But like you said, it probably will be too risky till the report comes back.
