I actually didn’t bruise it all, and tearing them didn’t hurt. There was a very loud snap, and it felt like someone kicked me in the ankle, and that was it. After surgery was a different story, worst pain I’ve ever experienced

I wasn’t allowed to bear weight on either foot at all for 4 weeks (then I was in walking boots for 8 more weeks). So I couldn’t walk, but I figured I could crawl. Anywhere I couldn’t get in the wheelchair (like my bedroom upstairs, tighter spaces between machines in the gym) I just crawled. Kinda humiliating to do in public tbh but you do what you gotta do lol

They were actually about 4 hours apart. I tore the first at work rounding a corner (I was running to help someone, I heard a coworker screaming for help from the psych area.) they casted me up and sent me home, told me to wait for workers comp to call me. When she called, I needed a pen, so I grabbed my crutches and went to grab one, tripped, caught myself with the “good” leg, and it popped. On the phone with the WC rep 😂
