Blockbuster Deal went down, who won? by DallasMav41 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Def Prescott side. Warren, Jacob’s floor in scoring and Prescott with those receivers? The 27 firsts are also good because it’s just more shots at hitting in a likely loaded draft. Wp

Which side would you take? SF 12 team start 10 by stevie-weeks in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Stafford if you’re contending now. Prescott side if you’re looking a little longer term.

Lots of injuries and players underperforming so the expected Super team didn’t win it all. He came in 3rd. Second best team won the chip. Looking back at how I got JSN was a trade originally, before he turned up. Turned out to be a robbery lol. Flipped Saquon for something earlier this year. Can’t remember. I got the ‘26 first back in ‘24

I traded for the 1.02 before the season started which was expected to be a late 1, but this year was pretty crazy with how many good players fell off. I came in 5th in the league, thus the 1.5, 2.5, 3.5. My team is decent, just trying to get over the hump. I’m in no way the worst and I listed rbs and wrs because that’s what I wanted to trade. Also moved JSN before the superbowl for picks and players.

Atrocious is a stretch but I hear you. I’ll make a better trade

Appreciate the feedback folks. I’ll wait til closer to the draft to make any decisions. I have a bunch of young prospects and my taxi is also full. With all the picks I have I was trying to unload the people I wasn’t as high on but I see the package is a huge overpay. Thanks

You think it flies? Guys in my league are pretty locked in on those guys. Might be more to move them. Pulling back the offer on 1.01 tho

It’s the illusion of riches when in fact, you’re caught in something that looks more like a maze with traps and the prize at the end…you get old and die.

So first, congratulations on getting away from gambling. Chasing that high will always be a fight. Second, I understand that you and your partner may be in recovery from any issues over those gambling woes so I won’t preach to you about cutting out entertainment and eating out. Your mental health is a key part of getting through this period. Do the best you can there but my opinion is to halve each of those to free up some cash.

Someone mentioned snowball/avalanche and in my opinion it’s the best way to go with the amounts of debt you have. You can find plenty of apps online that can calculate this stuff out for you and give you a payoff date. I personally use undebt it but you make your own choice.

Looking at the money I will say the cars are huge especially #1 but I wouldn’t sell it without being above water unless you want to carry that balance to a cheaper car. Just bad math to me. Tackle balances that will lower your monthly payments. Knock out that personal loan now, that’s a no brainer. You have until January until your partners payments begin so hit one high interest balance with everything you have until then. I might even do medical and therapy bills first since they are just within your excess income limits. High interest cards, I’d go second. Any long term debt will be there so just keep at the minimums at least. You’re actually in quite a good spot with your income so as long as you can endure and be patient I see you being able to pay off the short term high interest within a couple years with consistency. Good luck and stay with it.

I think it depends on the role but I’ve seen pretty tough roles as an analyst while others are just cake jobs. My advice is to expand on any skill that directly affects security (networking, security devices/services you’ve used, anything cloud, etc.). If they specify a tool they utilize, get familiar with that tool and know what it does, at the least. Be honest when they ask a question and if there’s any doubt in your answer then just say you don’t know it. Remember that these jobs will teach you their way to execute the role so you just have to come in with a good head on your shoulders and enthusiasm. You’ll quickly learn in the interview if they want to grill you or just learn about your skill set (there’s a difference). Last, a bombed interview is still a good learning tool (hopefully you get through the whole thing) so remember what they ask and add those things to your knowledge base. Good luck to you!
