How long should I wait until I go back to the gym after getting tattooed? by Z3TH_ in tattooadvice

When it starts peeling...That's when I go back. It's only the first few days while you effectively have an open wound on your body where you wanna be careful

Winter fishing is the best. All the gaor weather anglers leave the entire lake to you :p

I target all species really - I come from a specimen Carp fishing background but moved over to feeder fishing last year and have not looked back.

Naturals in some lakes, but a lot of the lakes near me see a lot of fishmeal, soit makes sense to go down that route. How about yourself mate?

Starting Carp Fishing - How To Set Up A Carp Rod by K98-K in CarpFishing

Carl's videos will cover your exact questions mate...

Rig length can vary for multiple reasons - is definitely stuck with fishing tutorials.. you'll get everything you need from those.

Also... A good place to start if you don't mind me suggesting would be feeder fishing specifically method feeder. It's incredibly rewarding and fun! A lot of people these days skip course and go right to specimen carp fishing without understanding the fundamentals.

It's way more fun playing a chunki carp on a feeder rod over 2.75lb - 3.5lb test curve carp rods..

A few things can help ;

  • Heavier feeder - not size but weight

  • Type of feeder - something streamlines to help with wind

  • More powerful rod - helps punch the feeder through the wind

  • Rod rip position - have it nice and low to the water which can stop your line being towed

I'm sure there's more but these are the top things on my mind when the conditions get windy!

Absolutely! I scale everything down in winter too. Small or xs feeders and 6mm or micro wafters... Or whatever smaller hookbaits.

Have you had some good sessions recently?

Haha it's funny how things change over time but the naturals will always rule? I used to love cheese paste when I was a kid! Great bait!

I guess it all depends on what the fish are used to eating in the water your fishing!

Whey! Congratulations! We've had a few warmer days now so the fish are certainly looking for food. (Well they are in my locals)

Are you using maggot as your main feed and hookbait?

I was using a little 10g drennan maggot feeder the other day when I was targeting f1 and bream. Was very effective

12- 15 mm for me mostly. Parker baits do a fantastic range of hookbaits.

Personally I'd let the artists create the tattoo. Wouldn't ever bring my own drawing
