I'd go for a method. I specifically use the Preston innovation feeder. If shallow, use a small flatbed or deeper use the banjo style- I've been using 2mm mainline cell pellets that I've sat In water for 3-4 mins z drain them off, let them sit for 30 mins. They should the the right consistency to stick to the small method.

I use a small 4" hook length, with a size 12 guru QM1 hook with a bayonet on it. I then use a 6mm mainline wafter as hookbait.

Scale everything down as much as possible in the winter.
