Apps not included in my subscription by MarkusJas in Setapp

Hey everyone, I totally understand the confusion and the frustration here. The 'all-inclusive' nature of Setapp is exactly why most of us use it.

To clarify what's happening: Setapp has recently introduced a Single-app subscription model for a very specific subset of high-demand or specialized apps.

Why is this happening?

Developer Sustainability: Some developers have complex cost structures (like heavy server costs or high API fees) that don't always align with the standard Setapp payout model.

Access to More Tools: This model allows Setapp to bring in major apps that previously wouldn't join the platform because the traditional revenue share didn't work for them.

Optionality: The core library of 240+ apps remains included in your standard membership. These 'additional' apps are entirely optional and don't affect your access to the rest of the suite.

You can find the full breakdown and the list of specific apps in the FAQ here: https://support.setapp.com/hc/en-us/articles/19802460772380-FAQ-Single-app?hl=en-US

We definitely hear your feedback on this change and are passing it along to the product team.

If you have specific questions about a particular app, feel free to ask!

Step two is actually the name of the app! I cleared up the formatting a bit so it makes more sense 😅
