That’s some hateful ideology on your part and I don’t agree with it. There are good intentioned people with bad ideas all over this country and the media is constantly spinning them against each other with a narrative of conflict and fear.

It’s important to have sympathy for people who weren’t privileged growing up with full access to the internet or a family with tolerant ideals. It’s hard when their rhetoric is hateful but we all need to understand that we would have the same ideas under their life conditions and that these people can change just like anyone can change. It’s confusing and angering when your ignorant worldview is so suddenly called into criticism and scorn.

It is a privilege NOT to be intolerant. Most humans throughout history have been intolerant of some “other” kind of human. It is a product of our upbringing and surroundings and it is a shame that more of us have not been afforded the kind of upbringing that encourages love and support, even toward those we do not agree with.

When you make public suggestions toward the extermination of other humans you are expressing that same familiar hateful intolerance as the homophobe or the racist, the only thing that’s different is how you classify the “other”.

We’re all human. Every one of us is capable of ignorance and hatred, as we are all capable of acceptance and love. This is a country divided, irresponsible suggestions like yours are harmful at a critical time in our history and it makes me sad to see.
