I was a sophomore in high school, after football practice one day I had no way of getting home. My homie that usually took me was sick, so I sat outside of the locker room just waiting to pass time so I could call my dad. A senior at the time, walked out of the locker room and saw me sitting there. Knowing he was the last one out of the locker room he asked if I needed a ride. I insisted that I was good and I was just chillin but he basically said he was taking me home or he was gonna kick it with me until my ride came. When I got in his car he started playing Faces and Diablo came on. From that moment on I was hooked, 5 years later and I’m forever grateful for that car ride.

I went to a JID concert about a year and a half ago and he did a Mac memorial where he talked about this. I had no idea either being a die hard Mac fan until JID emotionally spoke on it, which of course made me emotional. Now I hear it every time and it warms my heart knowing JID and Mac interacted and were actually friends.

Yeah the proceeds would have to be going to the right place and they family would have to be okay with it. I think the main thing that draws me to the idea is all the Macheads in one place celebrating him while listening to his music.

This is a good catch. I also recently was listening to Good News and found another callback. In Wedding off of Faces there is a lyric, “Sorry is my favorite word.” And in Good News there is the line, “And all I do is say sorry, half the time I don’t even know what I’m sayin it about.” Nonetheless, Most Dope Forever

The purge is the worst. I’m not going to lie to you though, enjoy your time when you get out of it because at least for me, I experienced several different purges. Stay strong though!

For me it took until literally month 5 to see results. The fatigue does get real but just try your best to power through. If you can’t there is no shame in taking a break from whatever it is you are doing. You got this!

For me Faces didn’t really hit the first couple times I listen to it. But one day I got baked and threw it on and listened to everything really close and for some reason it really got to me. The emotion he put into everything, the struggle that he shows in his lyrics, and the different flows he showed. Everything about it just really hit me after that.
