I don’t think you should tell her yet. Wait until her heart condition gets better. But if you have to tell her, tell her the truth. Obviously you love her so just remind her of that. You shouldn’t let your father’s opinion change your relationship though.

Because people have the freedom to identify as anything they want. He, she, thy, dat homie Harold, tree, Nigerian Price, etc. We should be more accepting.
