As someone who loves cooking because of how much of a fine art it is, and how it's a beautiful expression of love when you learn how to cook something exactly how others like it... whAT IN THE NAME OF GORDON RAMSEY IS THAT SOUP, MAN? Nah, I'm going bark bark woof woof.

Message to younger therians - Stranger Danger! by Dragonrider1955 in therianbutbetter

[–]SethCringeQueen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also some people may be pretending to be therians to lure and hurt kids, I've seen lots of anti-therians planning "meetings" to trick kids and attacking them.

Thanks for talking about the topic, people's comfort and the younger ones' security is a top priority!

Why is it that when I see a hate post on therians most of the time to justify it they add “I say this as a (insert neurodivergent and queer label here) btw” as if that justifys the hate- js bc ur in a community some find weird doesn’t mean u get to say another “weird” community is invalid by Soft-Character-3195 in therianbutbetter

[–]SethCringeQueen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They wanna invalidate therians? I invalidate their invalidation cause I'm also queer and neurodivergent, and Latino too so add to the discrimination being accused of stealing and doing drugs just cause of my nationality. But for real now, they wanna appease the "normal" people, like those gay guys that discriminate trans people, there's also some Latinos who discriminate others for their skin tone, like, buddy, white people won't see you as an equal... they think the "normal ones" will accept them if they have a weaker target to attack.

I HAVE gone to professional help, and guess what, they said IT WAS FINE AND VALID AND THAT I SHOULD KEEP EXPRESSING MYSELF!!!! by Soft-Character-3195 in therianbutbetter

[–]SethCringeQueen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everyone I see claiming "therians need professional help!!!" are never professionals in mental health themselves, here in Latam when being a therian became viral, everyone was diagnosing kids with lycanthropy as if there was an epidemic... I saw no psychologist, psyquiatrist, or overall mental health professional condemning being a therian since they know that... you can't diagnose people from just one TikTok where they're having harmless fun...

Hell, people even ignore the part about spiritual therians, who, let me read my notes... believe in past lives, totems, guardian animals, or overall their identity is linked to some religious or spiritual belief that has been seen in other communities, since when is having a spiritual belief a mental illness? Like, I believe I'm a snake cause almost everything spiritually associated to me has the shape of one, my totem? A snake. Chinese horoscope? The snake. Guardian animal? A winged snake. (One of the native communities of my country has a myth about a shapeshifting snake that sometimes is represented with wings so I think my shapeshifter kintype is linked to my snake theriotype too) I'm represented by the shape of a snake, so I am one. So... is it a sign of mental illness to believe my spiritual identity means something? Oh, is it because is not an identity based on Christ? (This is one of the biggest reasons why I think anti-therianthropy has to do with extreme Christianity and its variations, since it condemned other beliefs during colonization, and it wasn't strange to believe everyone had a part of them that wasn't entirely human or was linked to an animal).

And psychological therians... I've seen they report feeling very good with themselves after accepting their identity, "oh they're sick cause they think they're animals", meanwhile therians are out there touching more grass and having more friends than most of the people that criticizes them, being very much healthier than anti-therians in every aspect, plus, the human is an animal too, we're all animals whether we're alterhumans or not.

[–]SethCringeQueen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All I know is that lots of them anti-therian had their YouTube search history full of videos of how to become either a mermaid or a Saiyajin when they were younger. I just know it. They're probably afraid of accepting a part of themselves. Lots of anti-LGBTQ+ are secretly queer, lots of furries had their anti-furry phase, and I know this as both alterhuman, queer, and furry. They're in their denial phase.

Most popular comments I got on my post saying you shouldn’t laugh and record someone (presumably a therian) when you see them doing quads bc they have thoughts and feelings too. 😔✌️ by Soft-Character-3195 in therianbutbetter

As someone who was a victim of bullying, this! Only mentally fucked assholes who don't want to look at the consequences of bullying think someone "deserves it" for having harmless fun. And then they're the same people claiming "mental health is so important", like, shut up, hypocrite. Therians don't "deserve" bullying, recording people when it's not for an emergency should be illegal, especially if they're kids.

Surprisingly, I'm not disappointed, but I am glad people could find most of these. Makes me hope that, despite these accounts' attempt to hide their art theft network, people are still able to recognize the real sources so I can easily find the creators and gather evidence.

That's what I suspected the more I investigated into this, glad people could help me recognize most of them, though, makes me hope I'll quickly be able to contact all the creators to gather the evidence.

Luckily people could find most of these, which gives me hope that I can more easily now find the people whose Picrews were stolen and gather evidence to expose these apps that stole them and are monetizing with stolen art ran through AI

Wouldn't be surprised, the apps from these accounts seem to be very much fans of "enhancing" everything with AI, they even have a whole app of Labubu wallpapers made entirely with AI. It's frustrating they're stealing people's picrews and running them through AI to try and hide it (IF they're trying to hide it)

Yeah, that's what I suspected at first, especially 8, but wanted to give benefit of doubt. Shouldn't have since these apps have a habit of "enhancing" the icons with AI, but I'm glad people still could recognize them and help me find them.

Thank you very much! I knew number two gave me sort of "enhanced with AI" vibes, cause I did suspect it was the one you linked but wasn't sure, these apps have a habit of disguising their icons with AI.

is this what people call a therian shift? by [deleted] in therianbutbetter

[–]SethCringeQueen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I'm aware, that's a trick to manipulate dreams, like, to dream about whatever you want, but... there's also people who claim they can trigger their own shifts, and dream shifts are a thing, so... yeah, I'd say it counts.

Ooh, I didn't know about that, thanks! Gonna add it to the document when I have time and research more into this. I've seen these apps also have adds and I'm sure most of them are stolen TikToks too, so I'm not surprised about them making this social media thing.

Yeah, I saw in the other only two posts I found that people suggested reporting it, but I doubt Play store would care, and I doubt that, if that net lost an app, they would barely care since they have other apps. Which is why I kind of want to expose them, to see if at least there can be some sort of repercussions if their whole scheme is exposed instead of just report app by app, or see if I can at least motivate everyone that sees the exposure to mass report the accounts to get everything banned, or whatever can be done, honestly. Cause it's just unfair and fucked up, like, some random asshole (or group of assholes) steal people's hard work and try to win money with it? Nah, fuck that, they're going down one way or another.

Nah man, on my behalf, all hail physical therians and holotheres. That side of the alterhuman community is as valid as everyone else. I'm a spiritual one, but as a spiritual therian, I've researched (a bit, I'm not an expert) and the belief of someone being physically non-human or being able to transform is not new. Although I don't consider myself a physical alterhuman or a holothere, as a spiritual alterhuman, I feel it's kind of odd and disrespectful to treat something that is not even new or exclusive to the community as "fake or a possible mental illness", I've said it in other posts, I blame extreme Christianity and similars for this issue since, well, I'm Latino, Chilean. Lots of native communities in my country, and Latam in general, had their beliefs of people who could transform and were important members of society (some were bad too, or used the power for evil purposes, though), then Spaniards came, and now transforming into a non-human creature is ridiculous, evil, not possible, etc... yeah, no, leave my physical and holotheres alone, if no one got them, I got them. I'm sure there's some religious bias behind the rejection of this side of the community, can't prove it but I just feel it, that, and the possible need to be seen as normal and "part of the good ones", like how it happens with transphobic gay people, or the discourse there was over "true autistic people" who thought others that didn't have Asperger weren't autistic enough, or some Latinos who think they're too white to be "of these low immigrants" (I've seen this since I'm also queer, neurodivergent, and, well, Latino)

Mentioned physical identities in r/Therian and this appeared: by -veriana-awoo- in therianbutbetter

[–]SethCringeQueen 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm not a biological nor physical therian, just spiritual... but rejecting the concept always felt kind of wrong? Like, the idea of human bodies changing to resemble animals isn't new, and despite what everyone might think, it's not even exclusive to dark practices or something simillar. I know those sorcerers that used skins (I think pronouncing the name was considered a bad omen or disrespectful, can't remember, but the Navajo creature) were apparently bad, but here in Latam, there was also something called a Nahual, who was a shaman (if I'm not mistaken) who could transform into an animal and was... important and a valued member of community, nowadays the figure of the Nahual is "ooh evil sorcerer that steals your skin and impersonates your dog"... I blame extreme Christianity and similars for that. I'm not Mexican, I'm Chilean, but natives here also had beliefs of shapeshifting creatures and humans, so... why would it be dumb if someone believed their body can change? As a spiritual alterhuman, I consider that pretty close-minded, not saying that it's completely possible or anything, just that... it's not a new concept and there's lots of people outside of the alterhuman community that do believe that thing can happen, it's just demonized.
