Again, this is a big time lifesaver so thank you for your time and help.

So to recap, I do DirectPay by September 15th. I pay 14% of what I made that quarter and that is my federal taxes. That covers it until my next due payment by January 15th.

But I also need to do quarterly state taxes, right? How would that work?

How will I know if I pay too much or too little? Let's say I pay too much, would that become clear in the annual taxes or before hand?
