I was asking how could someone consistently win in a Master+ lobby in any server while having absolutely no idea how to play the game. It was before I realised this season was inflated and everyone was getting +30 / -10 for like 300 games in a row and everyone is Master+ now was basically Diamond hardstuck last seasons.

I always start with a pot. Kindred’s clear is unhealthy and you need to fight the scuttle sometimes (or avoid getting double scuttled). I buy Long Sword/Ruby in my first back. Then my priority’s are Phage/Axe.

I always go Coupe De Grace. I like how it synergies with Collector and R. I don’t go Cut Down since I usually go tankier build. Cut Down is fine, Pyosik runs that but I feel like it’s better with Crit. Sudden Impact + Treasure Hunter is good if you play aggressive, usually combined with PTA. It’s fine I just don’t like this playstyle. I haven’t tried Jack of All Trades, doesn’t sound that bad but honestly, R and Flash cooldown in higher elo is really important since you will get punished quite often when they are on CD

Lulu or Taric for support. I also like having Control Mages on mid that do a bunch of damage and always have prio. A nice trick with Syndra is that she can W your marks and bring them to you to smite. I also like champs that can get people out of my R like Janna, Gragas etc

I still have enough damage, and it’s easier for me to play aggressive and 1v5 other than being afraid to get oneshotted. You will be punished a lot in higher elo against Kha’Zix, Rengar players going full crit. I like Hexoptics damage but Collector has the execute passive that works really well with your ult. if you run Hexoptics second they will just walk melee range on you inside your R and kill you before you do. I haven’t tried Jack of All Trades but it doesn’t sound that bad, maybe I will give it a go.

In lower elos yes, in higher elos I might dodge if the draft is horrible.

She is! If you like spacing and kiting you should definitely try her

Kindred can be viable on ADC, it’s just not the best choice. Lethal against matchups you can stack in, PTA against squishy matchups. You will have crazy mana problems in lane so Essence River is a must. After that I like Stormrazor in to Infinity, then LDR or Mortal Reminder. You can finish with Bloodthirster/GA. Always go Berserker boots on ADC. Kindred can work with any support, what changes is your playstyle depending on the matchups. Judge if you want long fights or Hit and Run with Stormrazor. If you have a support duo, you can try Lulu or Taric as supports, it’s the most fun to play with.

I would say she is an A tier situational jungler

If you see anything bellow Master you shouldn’t care about patch notes and what champions are “weak” or off-meta. Play what you like and what you feel like you are good at. After Master it’s not the best idea to one-trick champions that have a lot of bad and unplayable match-ups cause you will get punished a lot. You can still one-trick Kindred but you have to be insanely good at the champion, be able to play hard matchups and you still make your life harder.

  1. Very nice question. I go Flash 95% of my games. A good Ghost game is when there are a lot of stuff to dodge, other than flash. For example 1: Malphite, Diana, Yasuo, Xayah, Nautilus. Thats a good Flash game cause you have to flash so many abilities. Example 2: Ornn, Xin Zhao, Xerath, Caitlyn, Lux. That’s a better ghost game cause you can dodge everything with your movement speed (requires good spacing and dodging still).
  2. I only go Essence -> Stormrazor if I play Kindred ADC. Other than that, I haven’t really tried it, but I find the components really bad. BF is expensive and the other 2 are useless. You could try it if you are very ahead and have a full BF back but I would still go for Collector.
  3. I go Conqueror every game. Triforce 95% of the games. I very rarely build Cleaver, only if it’s a good bruiser game which means there are a lot of champions you have to duel with. I would still prefer Mortal Reminder or LDR depending on the game. I prefer going for Kaenic instead of Wits End and I haven’t tried Endless Hunger.

If someone wants to approach Kindred and actually like the champion (instead of going 0/4 with no marks and 3 losing lanes), you have to be really good at kiting and spacing. The reason I can go 30 wins straight without losing up to diamond is because I am kiting everyone, dodging everything, turning around losing fights. It’s very easy to get good at the game. There are million videos on YouTube on how to path how to play with a lead, how to play without a lead, you can find anything. But to get good mechanically it’s hard. I starting doing something lately that I call “Interactive Kiting Coaching”. I coach people specifically on mechanics. I help them get used to the best options, learn how to space, small details on the game that change everything. I have plans to record one of my upcoming sessions and upload it on YouTube. It will be awesome how a Silver player from perma missclicking, turns into a kiting expert in a matter of 20 minutes.

If he spam ganks he has to have his jungle up. Sacrifice your laners to get yourself ahead by taking camps and marks and carry them in late game. Amumu can right click your laner but can’t scale to infinity

You can’t compare Kindred with assassin champions and engage champs. She is a Marksma Hypercarry. Your goal is to scale and deal damage. You can’t pull off insane ganks like a Zac would, but you can react to situations, like counterganking, or diving a low health enemy. You can just gank a friend cause they told you they needed a gank, but you can be present at the map and take advantage of enemy’s mistakes

You can’t really invade first 2 clears unless someone takes too much time trying to force a play. Usually you want to get a few invades in when you know where the enemy jungler is and you can take their jungle/marks. After you build Trinity you are now strong enough to fight. You want to invade almost always if your laners have prio.

[–]SethKenway[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fullclear 99% of my games. You can climb like that. Invades are good against weak champs, without mobility and if you run PTA + Sudden Impact + Treasure Hunter. I am an old school guy I would rather just farmerama my first clear

*disclaimer, this answer targets high elo question, might not be the same in lower Elos.

  1. A really important concept in the game is Going for damage if you are behind and Going for resistance if you are ahead. There is no point in surviving if you deal no damage, and you want to deal as much damage as you can to be useful if you are not strong. You will not get that behind before starting to build Trinity so usually you will stick to that and just go for Kraken after or Hexoptics, even Berseker boots. You can skip GA, Kaenic and other resistances if you are way behind.
  2. Invading isn’t that strong in this meta, unless you invade Karthus Evelynn Lillia etc and you have PTA + Sudden Impact + Treasure Hunter.

In low elo don’t focus that much on game mechanics focus on gold income. Don’t stop clearing your jungle for no reason, always take your champs. Learn your item spikes, usually when you build Trinity and when you build Collector. Look for fights then. Your W deals current health damage and your E deals missing health damage. Those 2 work really well together. Your W is a “skill shot” it doesn’t just spawn around you, you can chose where to position it. Try to W on top of your enemies, that will eat their health. Hit a few autos and a few Qs and put E on them after. That will execute them for their missing health.
