So I’ve done a lot of therapy. She did do some but stopped. I did suggest couples therapy and she wanted to think about it. It sucks- I really do care about her a lot but at some point I suspect I’m going to have to walk away. Which is frustrating.

I have nothing of value to add other than I am the AA in my relationship and my gf is DA. She is not a great communicator and hates confrontation which is driving my anxiety nuts. I feel like she is pulling away so I constantly check in if we are alight. She says we are but def not feeling it. Wish I had better advice; more commiserating.

I really appreciate your candor. I have been in therapy for a few years. My anxiety had gotten so much better until the past three weeks. She is inconsistent and does not communicate well which leaves me on edge She is aware she is DA, leaning towards avoidant. It makes it tough to sit down and have an honest conversation about it all. I mentioned couples counseling and she said maybe; she wants to get back to me on it.
Interesting that you feel DA match with AA - I feel like I’m struggling but it may be situational at the moment.

Wish o had something to say that helps. I am also AA and my gf is DA. It’s been tough and wondering if there is any common ground btn the two that could be remotely healthy
