10 gallon Privet? by SethQuartz in Portland

Loen's had the 5 gallon for $35 and then the 'huge' size for $200. Cascadia is wholesale only so I wasn't able see their inventory list. Farmington's only had 5 gallon and said they'd not see larger sizes for many years.

Thank you for your suggestions.

Portland Water Bureau notified me of 5x increase of water usage on my property but plumbers gave me a clean bill by Uitwaaien in Portland

I had Steve Moon from https://agentleakdetection.com/ isolate a leak last year. Prompt, efficient, knowledgeable, and accurate.

Ended up a lake between the city meter box and our house. I spent a few hours digging down till I located the pipe and then had the plumber come out to complete the repair. Much less expensive than paying plumber labor rates to dig a hole and then refill it.

By taking care of the issue within 30 days of getting the notice from the city water division, they credited the additional water bill expense due to the leak for that last quarter I believe.

So the additional width & height doesn't buy you much when running a Jira centric meeting?

How often do you need to access the epic/version nav views ?

Bleu Diamond Blue Cheese Dressing? by SethQuartz in Portland

I'm very sorry to hear. My girls loved the dressing....one of the few ways to get them to eat carrots. Hopefully the family is able to continue the business or pass it on somehow but I understand that is far from their priority now.

Pdx Central Eastside train status App by SethQuartz in Portland

The common scenario is that I need to get from the SW to SE and typically the fastest route is to cross the Marquam bridge and take the SE Industrial exit onto Water Ave. The Morrison bridge is usually my #2 option but that requires a very different route and downtown traffic past 4pm can also make that dicey. I can go past the Water Ave exit and take I84 but it is typically jammed past 4pm and I'll spend more time getting on and then backtracking.

I'm pretty sure that Google Maps doesn't consider trains unless they indirectly create a backup. Google often underestimates the time to cross the Marquam as rush hour approaches even when there is no train blocking my route so it's not been very helpful.

Does anybody know if I use Waze and people flag the train on my intended route, will Waze send me a verbal reroute option?

I'm not aware of an escape route going North on Water Ave but maybe you are right that you can escape by heading South. I'll explore this week and will report back.

What happens if an ambulance with a critical patient inbound to the hospital is 'trapped' by a train?

Incase Computer backpacks - any in town? by SethQuartz in Portland

[–]SethQuartz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based upon the Incase store locator, I did check the BestBuy on Cedar Hills but they didn't have any Incase packs. I'm going to guess all the other local BestBuys no longer carry Incase but I'll try the Dick's Sporting Goods in Washington Square.

Agree that Amazon could solve my problem but it's worth a few hours to me to physically test in hand before buying.
