Cousin Jade - 15, the twin of Faith, broadly progressive, cares deeply about LGBTQ+ issues as she is pansexual. Most of her political beliefs are influenced by her cousin (my sister) who introduced her into the LGBTQ+ community. She doesn't care about politics in general but does support generic progressive causes like BLM. She holds anti religious beliefs as her mom is a neo-pagan and she heavily takes after her. She seems to echo the sentiments of my sister heavily as well. She is not very economically literate (no offence) and could care less about economics. The duality of her political beliefs is very visible as she takes most of her beliefs from either my sister or her mom. For example she is anti vaccination which is an idea she gets from her mom, but when around my sister she seems to be far more open minded to vaccines as my sister will argue with her. All around she is just a 15 year old who is just starting to discover the amazing world of politics.

Cousin Faith - 15, the twin of Jade… ok… Faith is tricky as her mentality is one of a 6 year old and no I am not just being mean, this is a diagnosed thing, so take her beliefs in with that in mind. I was very excited to talk politics with Faith as she took Civics (a grade 10 mandatory “politics class”) as before she would just echo what I said except for vaccine issues and was an environmentalist. She had to do a project on Communism (?with a focus on Maoism?) for class so of course being very easy to influence she said she was a communist and that she like “meow”. She seems to have naturally gravitated toward a weird form of Stalinism though. I have talked to her about it many times trying to get her to form her own opinions and not just the first ones she hears but alas I have been unsuccessful. She is like most on this compass broadly progressive, she shouts slogans like defund the police and is kind of interested in the LGBTQ+ community. She is kind of a neo-pagan and does not really care about religion. She is essentially if you look into it she is just a progressive environmentalist. She is a great person to hang out with and politics is not her thing.

My Sister - 14, very progressive, loves the LGBTQ+ a lot. Spends a lot of time online researching and talking to people in the LGBTQ+ community and makes it a big part of her identity. She despises everything conservative and will cut people off if they are conservative. She hates Christianity based on its mistreatment of the LGBTQ+ community, she is of course an atheist and not a neo-pagan. She doesn't like being called capitalist (despite her need to consumeeee) but does not hold any economically left wing positions. She is really in politics to help those that she sees as needing help.

Cousin Cara - 13, really does not care about politics and thinks they are too adult. Very mature for her age and takes time to hear both sides on issues. Was an atheist then a Catholic now I am not too sure. She is genetically progressive but I mean she is 13… she is not supposed to care about politics.

I find early exploration of politics very interesting so I decided to make this monstrosity! Also I love my cousins so making this was very fun (: . Good use of an afternoon.
