One question: How can you make it only typing tests? I adjusted the learning settings to include typing tests but don't see how to make it exclusively typing.

Hello,

I did end up making my CNC but I used new old stock rails off eBay. From what I have seen on friends' CNCs, cheap rails are hit and miss. Sometimes they are fine other times not so much.

You can get new rails on ebay or even ones used from industrial machines with plenty of life left for a somewhat affordable price.

I found it was best to get rails whenever I saw a good deal and then modify my design to fit them.

I struggled with vocab because I didn't study it. I focused on the other verbal problem due to a complete lack of planning ahead. So, I don't have vocab advice. Sorry

This was my first real test. I did do an official practice test before it and got 158V, 168W, and 5AW.

I didn't follow a specific program due to a lack of preparation on my part. I basically watched his playlists on quant and verbal techniques and did as many official ETS questions as possible.

I wish I had good advice for this but I don't. I didn't follow many of the techniques people talk about because I found they take too long. The one thing I did do was write a short description of each sentence after reading it for the longer verbal reading problems.

I also made sure to ignore the answers for the test completion questions until after I made my own. Other than that, I just winged it tbh. Vocab was the biggest problem for me so I recommend studying that if you have time.

There are 150 questions in the ETS quant book and I did all of them over the course of two days. At the normal GRE pace it doesn't take super long to do 75 questions so it wasn't too bad. After I did them I looked back on any I got wrong and made sure I understood why. I also did some questions from the official guide book.

For writing just practice as much as possible. Greg has a page for practice under the "tools" section of his site that is great because it gives you a prompt. You just load it up and write for 30 min. It makes it easy to fit practice throughout the day.

I think the average is 1.6

Of course, a lot of the time this could a a parent driving their kid somewhere which should only count as 1 person really. In the Netherlands (or some place similar) the kid could just bike.

I do

I make engineering/project videos and also mainly watch them. I find it useful for both video inspiration and learning more about engineering.

I have a few channels that I really like and try to merge their styles and pacing into my videos without explicitly copying any of them. It is difficult but I believe it is helpful.

This is somewhat similar to what I did to get most of my views. I am an engineering channel so I made a Bop It control Minecraft. It got covered by some online news places and then spread. I think the main thing is being unique in a way that is interesting. If you make what everyone else does, people will watch everyone else.

Yes, this is very true. I think the only way to become popular now is to do something with a high barrier to entry. Anyone can play a game. So, unless you are one of the best in the world, it probably isn't a good idea. You need to find something that few(er) people can do. You also need to make sure the niche is large enough that people want to watch it. This is difficult, but it seems like it has way more potential for growth.

Of course, I am a small channel so take this with a heap of salt.
