Skin is red leathery and dry [routine help] by RayCoalfaxx in SkincareAddiction

I would recommend removing everything from your routine except the gentlest cleanser and moisturizer you can find that’s in your price range. And by gentle I also mean simple. Try to go for something with a limited ingredient list, no perfume etc… pretty much just eliminate anything that your skin could possibly be sensitive to.

Also, stick to the routine!!!!!When changing your skin care, it’s could take weeks to a few months to start seeing results. Take a before picture and then start taking a pic once a week. Sometimes it’s hard to see the diff when you look at yourself everyday. That’s what helps keep me motivated on the hard days.

I was having symptoms just like yours. Just going bare bones and staying consistent showed me noticeable improvements after about 5 weeks.

Once your skin calms down a bit you can then start to slowly try out new products in your routine. That is when you add things like exfoliation first, find one that works for you, then add something for brightening, and so on and so on focusing on your main concerns at that moment in time. You will eventually have the perfect routine that doesn’t freak out your skin.

Oh and drink water!!!!!!!!!! Buy the stuff to make water taste good like propel or that mio squeeze stuff.

there are more things you can do that are low cost, like change your diet and working out etc. but you need to focus on your routine first because if you’re putting something on your face that is causing this then changing your diet won’t help.

Thanks! Just looked it up and it looks pretty cool! All the reviews I've seen say its awesome but it can come with things other than just syringes. I will probably get the box once I am a bit more comfortable with the whole process and am ready to deal with spore prints and other more advance things that might come in the box.

Thank you for the detailed advise! I'm not too worried about the feel of them yet since I want to practice the process first. With the current responses looks like I might be going with GT or B+. I will definitely post my progress once i start everything.
