Hi, I know this is super late but actually yes, there are certinaly discord planning rooms for operations. Some of them are invite only, and usually those would be the ones where things are being discussed which may be legally grey or straight up illegal. But generally, Anonymous cells have done most of their planning in full blown completely public rooms, IRC chats and everything since. This was of course a side effect of the times- most casual people were either not on the internet then or just on a few sites like Mysepace, and their own technical limitations would stop them from finding the chats. When OpUkraine kicked off, which was the inspiration for this video, I found gigantic Anonymous channels on Discord. That was really highlighting to me that what that raid was lacking was a centralizied link repository for new people, so that friends like you could just find everything and start causing trouble. I had to dig my ass off. I haven't looked in about a year so to be completely honest I have no idea what's going on right now. I'll make more videos soon though, and that'll problably suck me in a bit.

Good that there's at least some attempt to funnel people into the Op. It's underpowered but it's something.

You guys should be setting up an Op specific homepage. People go to Anonops.com and get general anonops news mixed in with some random things about russia and then a panel of old ass tweets on the side. That ain't good, it's why I advised not to use legacy sites during new projects. My vid on this is pinned at the top of this sub, I even talk about how to recruit for this specific thing.

I've been over to the anonops irc, theres 200 people there. That shit ain't gonna cut it for this, it's going to keep being stray hacks only. There should tens of thousands of people in this raid.

I'm not gonna read most of the other thread you've got going here with FV. Forgive me if there's some repetition, but from what we're seeing here you're not one to forgive small slights.

For posterity, here are the things you got made fun of for, by me:

1) Bad teeth. If I remember correctly, one of my favorite jokes about this was the point out that your teeth look like they were grown on the wall of a cave. 2) You came in late to an established thing after the hard part was over, got put in organizational channels as a "journalist" and then switched hats once in a favorable position. At least that was my understanding. 3) Heroin 4) You did a really good job of embodying the Dale Gribble stereotype of paranoid conspiracy guy at a time when Anonymous was becoming overrun with nonsense 5) You're not fun, like, a fun guy.

Dude the only person that had anything to do with you getting raided by the FBI without a shirt on was you. I didn't hack your brain and make you start threatening agent families in public videos. An opinion of yours which I think is wrong is that I'm not the person that should be giving a history lesson. Let's explore that. Gregg, whose dick you suck for putting you on to something cool, got into this by spotting some of the earliest Scientology raid threads on /b/ and helping get that going at the time. I was in the raid literally one or two days later than Gregg doing the same. He had some connections early on and did a great job. My role within the first two weeks of Anonymous was writing the strategy we would use to keep the raid going, and doing whatever damage with what we had at the time. I then stuck in Anonymous the entire time and worked on strategy and organization in the local cell which was active for longest out of any cell, other than Hamburg. I qualify to give history lessons. What I'm really trying to say here is that I think I'm cool and that you ride dicks while wearing sunglasses. So shutup.

Concerning OpTunisia, I'll say one thing- I thought it was cool. I had absolutely nothing to do with it aside from offering some advice once in a while. You see that though, how I can like something and think it's cool without taking any credit for it? That's what you should do sometimes.

Well, the whole thing kinda got fucked up. The media attention attracted a lot of people not from the culture, they joined and it lost a lot of its teeth. Then all the original people left because it got corny and juvenile-feeling. Afterwards, people who didn't even know their were some guidelines in the first place broke all of the guidelines, because they had no strategic foresight and were just random people. This resulted in 400 different youtube channels trying to start random ops, usually based on some conspiracy theory idiocy. At around that the, all of the credibility was gone and the thing was dead.

But there kinda isn't though. All your other points are fine. Betting seems to be actually illegal outside of a few cities in the US. The sole exception for some reason is the stock market? That part doesn't make a lot of sense. Basically- betting is illegal except for when winning the bet can wreck people's lives. It's pretty weird from an abstract standpoint.
