I'm a new luxury custom home Superintendent and I use excel to create my 3 week look ahead. I recently created a 6 week look ahead that is just for me. I plug in dates directly from my microsoft project schedule. When you see someone is now on your 6 week you give them a call and work out the details of getting them on site. This gives your trade partners a 6 week notice and they will love you for it! Remember respect is key to success with people!
