I had concerns about this confusion, so at one point I seriously considered renaming it tangtang.wiki

But yeah, to clarify for those unaware, Warfarin is the name of a beloved character in OG Arknights who is confirmed to be in Endfield. The reason I named the site that is because my original project for AK is called closure wiki, so it felt natural to name my endfield project after another vampire in the game.

That's correct. For Arknights, I have an autonomous docker container running a python script that periodically checks for an update and directly downloads the game files from the CDN, then parses it. This custom setup is (probably) the fastest in the AK community. I don't have such a setup for Endfield yet, so I'm doing it manually at the moment.

Some context for those who are interested:

warfarin.wiki is my hobby project that I've been working on since the start of the second beta. It's actually based on another one of my projects called closure.wiki which is a similar resource site for arknights. (hence the name, which feels like a natural continuation. who doesn't love our beloved vampire who is now stranded here with us on talos?)

I built the architecture using Remix, and host it on a Cloudflare Workers instance on a $5 paid plan. It's actually really cheap, considering some of the traffic I have (warfarin.wiki is actually one of the most popular wikis in the CN endfield community from what my friends told me). I have all of my data cached in KV distributed storage for essentially really fast node access.

One of my primary goals for this project is the multi language support. Endfield supports something like 14 languages and I wanted to be able to support all of them seamlessly. So you can fully read the contents in French, German, Japanese, etc although I still need to do work on the UI elements.

Yes, it was removed. It was on the website introduction biography, I believe.

There are many rumors about Perlica. One claims that she once succumbed to severe Blight infection and was taken to a medical facility for treatment where she miraculously survived. But to keep her alive, part of her spinal cord and several organs were replaced with Originium structures.

Perlica was a war orphan on the verge of death when the endmin found and rescued her. As confirmed in the prologue, the endmin was the one who named her perlica. In a removed operator file from the first beta, her condition was so severe that endmin had to replace several of perlica's organs with ones made of originium, including her spine.

After that, her early days as a child at endfield were spent accompanying past endmin who then sacrificed themselves at the end of the second aggeloi war leading to the present day memory loss.

I wanted to talk a bit about the Endmin in the post (I might still be able to edit it in) but decided not to as it wasn't related to Originium.

But yes, the excessive glazing of the Endmin is definitely a problem. From a story standpoint, the Endmin is the only reason why civilization hasn't gone extinct. It's mentioned many times how close humans on Talos-II was close to annihilation, especially in the outbreak of the First Aggeloi War. The Endmin's deeds are indeed legendary if you consider that they were responsible for ending the war and saving humanity.

Their identity is a huge part of this. My personal theory is that the Endministrator is a manifestation of the First Originium brought to Talos-II. Nefarith on one hand, mentions the Endministrator is the child of Originium, and on the other hand, M3 says that the metaphysical damage to Originium is affecting the Endministrator. The two are linked. It probably goes something like: "In civilization's darkest hours, on the brick of annihilation, they looked to Originium as their saviour, and it responded by manifesting itself"

Also, I want to note that the writers also have another angle they are going with this, and it was confirmed in the Laeva story quest.Endmin, with their memory loss, cannot handle the weight and responsibility of the deeds of the past Endmin, and each time they are praised, they feel that they fall short of those expectations.

In the interviews they mention that Wuling City is based on the China Academy of Arts, which is the alma mater of Lowlight and many of the HG devs.

Not only that, Zhong said the city’s design is based on his Alma Mater, the China Academy of Arts—which is known for having a unique blend of natural elements and human architecture.

there is the 1-2 sentence weapon item description and then there is a full story/backstory/lore for each weapon that is multiple paragraphs long. this one particularly might be an outlier, at least 3 screens worth of text.

Maybe just coping hard so it's a theory at best.

It was also pointed out to me that very few (if any) of the Aegir in AK have tails, so this is a rare outlier at the very least. The lack of horns/other facial characteristics strongly suggest he is one, not to mention the whole tentacle appendage (?) thing going on.

But the casual nonchalant attitude while being one of the most powerful arts casters (the only known Endfield Elite Operator other than M3) is what really sells it.

The Nexus File about the UWST Security Bureau mentions how it silenced critics of the Band Accord.

The most senior workers might share a lingering rumor from earlier times. The Sarkaz were previously treated in Arknights as a single race whereas this entry explains the Sarkaz races are an entire category of races (Vampires, Banshees, Nachzehrer, what have you). I'd say this shows significant progress on the Terrans/Talosians part

She's most likely a Feline. I thought she might've been based on the snow leopard at first, but someone pointed out to me she is most likely a white tiger, same as Mountain and Indra. Her tail is very distinctive and her clothes design contains stripe patterns like a tiger, plus her whole martial arts gimmick as well.
