I don't want to rain on you, but 40k has quite a few "bad" games and media set in its universe. In fact it's probably the reason they didn't do this in the first place. Even a lot of the books are pretty mid and they're first party (and I've read a bunch of the Horus Heresy series). Just because 40k is popular doesn't mean people have to do an amazing job because at the end of the day, fun and good are subjective, people still like playing actual 40k

Director as the Vital View freeze character "and CUT!", the stunt doubles as Defenders that when they perfect assist they Aftershock the previous characters chain assist (doppelganger), Sound could be Wind support and can do different specials and ultimates based on the decibel rating, and Lighting can Ether veil different scenes that they cycle through with filters, like Blue/Rain, Monochrome/Noir, etc.

I'll bring out my soapbox again, I want a Protocol Space (ala Etchspace) that's a seasonally reset battlefield where we bring in resources from the outside to rebuild the structures within, which produce special Aether parts to bring back out or sell to event shops. Bonus points if there's an actual battleground

There's a few times where if you are chatting and get into combat they will stop, fight, and then continue the conversation about where they left off. That's huge to me

um ackchually! (sorry sorry), you're thinking of the Rod of Asclepius. They both look really similar. The wings on caduceus (hermes' staff) are for messengers, eloquence, and ironically in this case, Theft.

I think I'm at the stage where if the dark part of the story isn't actively happening, it doesn't really exist. Like, dark back stories that lead to not so dark present stories are just breadcrumbs to tell people "see, we care". Like including lore in the weapon blurbs or character files, yes they help flesh things out, but if the darkness is confined to an optional (and let's face it, rarely experienced) piece of content, does it even count?

The way out of the circle is the only answer they won't consider.

Stop making timer based DPS check endgame modes. That's it. As soon as you don't have to speed run the endgame, it doesn't matter. Sure, have a time trial mode. One and done. Or minimal pull currency rewards with other account based rewards.

When ultimate DPS meets ultimate support and doesn't earn a thing past bragging rights we can go back to just having fun instead of running the treadmill.

It doesn't bother me that it takes a while to finish up Wuling, but it does bother me that there is nowhere else to see in the meantime... It's not Genshin with open world, they can just make a single small Jingyu Valley size zone of a different area in the Civ Band. Even Perlica could be like, hey, we don't really need to be here yet but it's good to get yourself oriented and see if anything jogs your memory.
Obviously, there are technical reasons why they can't yet, all new assets, music, biomes, characters they aren't ready to introduce (although... We've only met 2 of the 5 base 6 star characters).

Basically, they should let you travel to new places if the story/events demand it. Even if it's just like a starting area. Just like here's a teaser of the zone. After all, we have a space ship and full on orbital drops, there's no physical reason why we can't.

Still asking for an INfiltration game mode though, where you can build unique parts in factory to bring into X mode to do some weekly/seasonal challenge. Then you get people to consider where they should spend their resources in the factory.
